Windows 11 – It's time for an unexpected Christmas gift
Summer is already here. And with it comes the announcement from Microsoft of the new and long-awaited version of their operating system - Windows 11. Users of the previous version Windows 10, as well as those with newer machines will have the opportunity to upgrade their systems by this Christmas at the latest. Until then, it is expected that the company will release a little bit of information about the new features of their latest operating system.
Today we will introduce you in detail to the novelties in the 11th version of Windows.

System Requirements
For most users, it is essential how much space the next update of the operating system will take up. Especially if you don't have enough space on the disk. But don't worry, there's no need for drama. Just like in the previous version, the requirements in this one are within reasonable limits, i.e:

Information has emerged that Acer and Dell openly state in the public domain that their products from older models have the capability to support the new OS. It remains unclear to what extent other manufacturers have integrated the TPM 2.0 module into their motherboard models.

New Start Menu
One of the main changes is in the Start menu and Start buttons, which are now positioned in the center of the screen, rather than on the left as in previous versions. The “tiles” are now a thing of the past, replaced here with “live” and colorful icons. An additional convenience is that programs are “cloud-enabled,” allowing you to see the latest documents you have worked on, as well as the most used applications up to that point. Furthermore, when you migrate a document between two devices, one of which is a mobile device, the changes you make are visible on the computer as well.
Another feature that enhances the workflow is the ability to choose from different options for splitting the screen, so you won't need to purchase a new screen that requires the installation of special software.
The text search assistant bar has been removed, as the new operating system now “recommends” that you use Microsoft's search engine Bing.

New Windows, new “gadgets”
Although the Android OS offers a richer selection of games and applications, Microsoft is also keeping up with the needs of its users. Therefore, the company has completely redesigned the layout of its virtual store, thus offering a wide range of applications and games for its users. Additionally, the task and weather bar has been completely revamped.
The news section has also undergone changes. You can now customize it so that you receive only the information from the world that is important to you. You even have the option to provide feedback to the creators of your preferred content, allowing you to share your opinion. And that is definitely important for developers.

Integration with other ecosystems
Microsoft is aware that one of the most widely used operating systems at the moment is Android. That is why in its new operating system, the company will utilize the Intel Bridge compiler, allowing Android applications to run on x86 systems, including AMD platforms. Through it, you will be able to install, use, and even pin your favorite Android applications to your desktop, which will work just as smoothly as Windows-based applications.
Windows 11 also gives us WDDM3.0, which means you will be able to run Linux graphical applications under Windows with hardware acceleration and sound. Another convenience we receive is a package manager.

Docking Station and Desktop
You can use a tablet or laptop that you connect to an external monitor. Here there is an innovation. You will no longer have to worry that once you disconnect the connection to go to, for example, the conference room, you will lose everything displayed on the screen so far.
Windows 11 offers the ability to automatically minimize the currently open windows to external sources. It is enough to disconnect from the current device and connect to the next one for the previously opened applications or diagrams to be displayed.
Additionally, each workstation can be customized according to the users' preferences with its own appearance and favorite icons. Now, in the conditions of a home office, this is a good option for separating your own virtual “self” – during half the day you are the office worker creating and working on Excel, and at night your other “self” is intensely breaking records in Battlefield or another favorite game.

Turn your home computer into a virtual Xbox
You no longer have to hesitate between building a new and powerful gaming computer or purchasing the already hard-to-find gaming console Xbox. Even if your monitor does not support HDR, every game comes to life in real colors. Now the company integrates the same technology used by Xbox to provide the most detailed image in your gaming sessions.
Gamers with access to Xbox Game Pass will now have it built into the new 11th version. Thanks to the cloud service “Xbox Cloud Gaming,” even machines with more modest capabilities will turn into consoles.
