Clear filtersUseful when choosing
The case determines how large a system you can build, how well it will cool, and how it will look on your desk. Here you will find compact cases for Mini ITX, Mini and Middle Tower models, large Full Tower cases for water cooling, as well as options with glass panels, mesh front panels, and RGB fans.
How to choose
- The motherboard size. The case must support the form factor of the motherboard – Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX, or Extended ATX. Most Middle Tower cases accommodate ATX motherboards.
- The airflow. A mesh front panel and spots for at least three fans provide lower temperatures and quieter operation. Closed glass fronts look clean but cool less effectively.
- Space for components. Check the maximum length of the graphics card, the height of the CPU cooler, and the spots for radiators in water cooling.
- The front panel. USB-C at the front is now standard in new cases and is convenient for quick external drives and phones.
- The appearance. A glass side panel, white versions, and fans with ARGB lighting allow you to arrange the build to your liking.
- Vertical mounting of the graphics card. Some cases allow the card to be placed vertically with an extension cable to be visible through the glass. Check if the cable is included or needs to be purchased separately.
What to watch out for
- Most cases are sold without a power supply – check if you need to buy it separately.
- Motherboards with rear connectors (BTF) require a case that supports them.
- Check how many fans are included and if there is a lighting controller.
- Space behind the motherboard for cable management makes assembly much easier.
- Dust filters at the front and bottom keep the computer clean and are easy to clean.
Compatibility
Compare the size of the motherboard, the length of the graphics card, and the height of the cooler with the specifications of the case. The power supply must match the format – ATX or SFX. If you are unsure, the configurator checks the sizes for you. Also, consider where the computer will sit – under a desk or on it – for the front ports and button to be convenient.
