The good stand holds your phone or tablet where you need it – in front of your eyes in the car, on the handlebars of the bike, or at the right angle on the desk. This way, navigation is always visible, and your hands remain free. How to choose

• Where you will use it. For the car, there are mounts for the windshield, dashboard, and air vent. For bikes and scooters, there are mounts for handlebars. For the desk, choose a stable desktop stand.
• The size of the phone. Check the description for what width of phone the stand is for, usually in centimeters, and whether it fits the phone with a case.
• The method of attachment. Magnetic mounts allow the phone to be placed and removed with one hand, but require a magnetic plate or compatible case. Clips and gravity mounts work with any phone.
• The material and stability. Aluminum stands are heavy and do not slide on the desk, while plastic ones are lighter for carrying. For the bike, a secure attachment is more important than weight.
• Streaming arms. Flexible arms hold a camera, microphone, or lighting above the desk and free up space.

What to watch out for

• The stand in the car should not obstruct visibility and airbags.
• Ventilation mounts can heat the phone when the heating is on.
• Wireless charging through the stand works only if the phone supports it.
• For the bike mount, check if the phone is protected from falling on uneven roads and whether it rotates horizontally.
• The desktop stand with an adjustable angle helps for a more comfortable neck position during video calls.

Compatibility
