How to choose

• Water and dust protection. IPX7 and IP67 ratings mean the speaker can withstand immersion and sand – suitable for beach and pool.
• Smart features. Smart speakers with Alexa or Google Assistant play music, radio, and podcasts by voice and control smart plugs and lamps. Some also have a screen for clock, weather, and video.
• Connecting multiple speakers. Many models connect in pairs for stereo or in groups for louder sound at parties.

• Smart speakers require Wi-Fi and an app for initial setup.
• Connecting multiple speakers usually only works within the same brand and series.
• At high volume, small speakers distort sound – it’s better to get a larger model.
