AOC Q27G3XMN/BK Monitor, 27", IPS MiniLED, QHD 2560x1440, 180Hz, 1ms, HDR1000, Adaptive Sync

The AOC Q27G3XMN/BK monitor is a 27-inch gaming model aimed at serious gaming use in the mid/high-end class. You get QHD resolution 2560 x 1440, which is a very good balance between detail and load on the GPU, plus a high refresh rate 180 Hz for a smooth image in fast games. The combination of a VA panel and MiniLED backlight provides deep contrast and more precise control of the backlight compared to standard LED solutions. With an Anti-Glare coating and wide viewing angles, the monitor is comfortable even for long sessions in front of the screen.

What you get here: The 27-inch size at QHD resolution provides a pixel density that is high enough for clear text and detailed textures in games, without the need for aggressive scaling. 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time reduce motion blur and make tracking in dynamic shooters noticeably more precise. The VA panel with a static contrast 4000:1 helps achieve deeper blacks and better readability in dark scenes, which is a plus in games with many shadows. The MiniLED backlight and high stated brightness 700 cd/m² provide a serious headroom for HDR content and in brightly lit rooms. Through HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, you can easily connect both a PC and a console without constantly moving cables.

• 27" diagonal offers a good balance between size and desk space occupied, convenient for both gaming and work.
• QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution provides higher detail than 1080p, without loading the GPU as much as 4K.
• Refresh rate 180 Hz provides smoother motion and a better sense of control in fast competitive titles.
• Response time 1 ms helps minimize blur during fast pans, useful for FPS and competitive games.
• VA panel with static contrast 4000:1 provides deeper black tones and a more saturated image compared to typical TN or standard IPS panels.
• MiniLED backlight and brightness 700 cd/m² allow for better visibility in strong ambient light and more pronounced bright accents.
• Anti-Glare coating and 178°/178° viewing angles make the screen more resistant to reflections and comfortable to view from different positions.
• HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces give you flexibility to connect multiple sources – PC, console, or laptop.

The monitor is suitable if you are looking for a serious 1440p gaming display with a high refresh rate, strong contrast, and good HDR potential for modern titles. It is also suitable for general use and multimedia when you want deeper colors and a bright image. If your goal is super-light eSports titles with minimal load on the GPU, you might consider whether to stick with 1080p, but for more modern games, 1440p is the more sensible choice here.

The strongest combination in the AOC Q27G3XMN/BK is the mix of QHD @ 180 Hz and VA + MiniLED, which provides both speed and an image with good contrast and brightness. If you want a 1440p gaming monitor that does not compromise on smoothness and visual feel, this model hits the mark exactly.
