MSI G255F, 24.5", IPS, FHD 1920x1080, 180Hz, 1ms, AMD FreeSync, HDMI, DP Monitor

The MSI G255F is a 24.5" gaming monitor that plays in the mid-range class – fast enough for serious competitive gaming, but also convenient for general work. The combination of IPS panel, Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and 180 Hz refresh rate makes it very suitable for FPS, MOBA and any other dynamic titles. 1 ms response time helps for cleaner rendering of moving objects, while the anti-glare coating protects the eyes from excessive reflections. The display is flat 16:9, with LED backlighting and the typical wide viewing angles of IPS technology.

What you get: A 24.5" diagonal is very convenient for a desk – you see the whole picture without turning your head, which is a plus in competitive games. At 1920 x 1080 and pixel size 0.27156 x 0.27156 mm, the text is easy to read without needing to scale in Windows, and the image remains detailed enough for gaming and video. Brightness 300 cd/m² is fully sufficient for normally lit rooms, and the Anti-Glare coating reduces reflections from windows and lamps. Static contrast 1000:1 is typical for quality IPS – you get a decent distinction between dark and light, without sacrificing color accuracy. With viewing angles 178°/178° you can look slightly from the side or share the screen with someone next to you, without colors fading drastically.

• 24.5" IPS panel provides a good balance between compactness for a desk and a large enough picture for gaming and movies.
• 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution is the standard for esports and allows for higher FPS even with a more modest GPU.
• 180 Hz refresh rate gives much smoother motion compared to 60/75 Hz and helps you track fast objects in games more easily.
• 1 ms response time reduces motion blur and "tails" behind objects in dynamic scenes.
• Anti-Glare coating reduces reflections and makes the screen more comfortable for long sessions during the day and under strong lighting.
• Brightness 300 cd/m² is sufficient for most home and office environments without "burning" your eyes.
• IPS with 178°/178° angles keeps colors and contrast stable, even when you are not standing exactly in the center of the screen.

Who is it suitable for: if you are looking for a fast 1080p monitor for FPS, battle royale or MOBA and want to take advantage of high refresh rates, this model is a very sensible choice. It is also suitable for general work, movies and multimedia, thanks to the IPS panel and normal brightness. It is not the optimal choice if you are chasing maximum detail for photo/video work or 4K productivity – here the focus is on speed and smooth image.

The combination of 180 Hz, 1 ms and IPS at this diagonal size makes the MSI G255F especially pleasant for daily gaming and use, without burdening you with unnecessary compromises or excessive hardware requirements.
