Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7600 Box - 100-1000001015BOX

The smartest start for a new AM5 gaming PC

The Ryzen 5 7600 is a 6-core, 12-thread processor with Zen 4 architecture, a base frequency of 3.8 GHz and up to 5.1 GHz. It consumes only 65 W.

This is the processor that offers the best value for entering the AM5 platform. You get DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0, and the option to install a more powerful processor on the same motherboard later.

Who it is suitable for

• Mid-range gaming PCs — with graphics cards like the RTX 5060, RTX 5060 Ti, RX 9060 XT, and even the RTX 5070. In this category, the processor is rarely the bottleneck.
• Gaming at 1080p and 1440p with a 60–144 Hz monitor.
• Office and home PCs that need to last for years — it also has integrated graphics.
• If you want maximum frames in competitive games with a 240 Hz monitor, look at the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Which version to choose

The processor is the same in all versions. The difference is in the packaging and whether it includes a cooler:

• Box — in a retail box, with a cooler — this page.
• MPK — in packaging that AMD supplies for PC assembly, with a cooler.
• Tray — without a retail box, just the processor, no cooler.

The warranty for each version is listed in the specifications. Choose based on price and availability.

7600, 7600X or 7500F?

• 7600X has slightly higher frequencies, but the difference in games is minimal. It comes without a cooler, and the TDP is 105 W.
• 7500F does not have integrated graphics. Without a graphics card, the computer will not display an image.
• 7600 is the golden mean: integrated graphics and low power consumption.

What else you need

• AM5 motherboard — A620 is sufficient for this processor. B650 is the better choice if you plan to install a more powerful processor later. AM5 motherboards
• DDR5 memory — 2×16 GB DDR5-6000 is the ideal choice. DDR5 memory
• Cooler — if the version includes a cooler in the box, it does the job. For a quieter PC, any single-tower cooler will please you. Coolers for AM5

Questions and answers

Can I play without a graphics card?

Will I be able to install a more powerful processor later?

Yes. The AM5 motherboard accepts Ryzen 9000 processors, including X3D models, after a BIOS update.
