According to sources, Nvidia will launch its new graphics card GeForce RTX 3060 this month (February), on the 25th. The card will be the first based on GA106 with 3584 CUDA cores. We know that it will have 12GB GDDR6 memory, making it the second highest in VRAM volume from the RTX 30 Ampere series. Interestingly, it has more memory even than the RTX 3080, which comes with only 10GB, although it uses the newer GDDR6X technology.

The company has already released the mobile version of RTX 3060 in the new laptop modelsi. It has more cores (3840), but its memory is halved - 6GB.

Other sources claim that a variant of Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 has already even fallen into the hands of a miner, who published a picture of the RTX 3060 Eagle OC version. The user on the EtherMining subreddit even posted a picture and claims that his card was sold more than 2 weeks before its official market release.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 will start at a price of $329 for America. The company expects retailers to offer this price for at least the initial stock of the model, but given the current situation, this remains highly questionable. We still do not have information regarding current global availability, but according to unconfirmed information, in Bulgaria "there will be cards at launch". Whether this will be the case, and what the prices will be both here and in the rest of the world, we will find out very soon!
