According to information found on the PugetBench website, Asus is expected to unveil an updated version of its premium gaming laptop, which will include a next-generation Intel processor. The ROG Strix Scar 16 will arrive in a top configuration, featuring a 1600p 240Hz display, 32 GB DDR5 memory, and graphics chips up to and including RTX 4090.

The upcoming laptop will be powered by the anticipated Core i9-14900HX processor from the new Raptor Lake Refresh series. Interestingly, there is no change in the model designation of the laptop, which suggests that we will not see changes to the chassis compared to its previous version. From this, we could assume that the successor to the well-known Core i9-13980HX will have similar characteristics.

Unfortunately, the official specifications of this laptop have not yet been announced. However, there is a strong possibility that it will be equipped with 24 cores, consisting of 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores. Turbo Boost frequencies are expected to exceed 5.6 GHz.
From another leak of information, we see that two more models of mobile processors from Intel's 14th generation are already known. This time from a list of laptops from Lenovo. The Legion 9 is expected to be offered with an i9-14900HX processor and graphics cards RTX 4080 or RTX 4090. The Legion 7 appears to be equipped with an i7-14700HX, while the Legion 5 will correspondingly have an i7-14650HX.

It seems that Intel's new mobile processors may be officially announced at any moment.
