GOODRAM CX400 512GB 2.5" 7mm SATA III SSD

GOODRAM CX400 512GB is a classic 2.5" SATA SSD, aimed at budget and mid-range configurations – an ideal upgrade from an old HDD or a small system SSD. With a capacity of 512GB, you have enough space for Windows, your main programs, and a few larger games. Speeds up to 550MB/s read and 500MB/s write provide noticeably faster system and application startup compared to a mechanical drive. It operates via a standard SATA III (6Gb/s) interface and fits into almost any laptop or desktop with a 2.5" bay.

What you get

With 512GB, you can comfortably keep your operating system, office suite, browsers, frequently used software, and a few heavier games without worrying about every update. Speeds up to 550/500MB/s mean significantly shorter loading screens, faster level loading, and minimized “stuttering” when working with large files. High values up to 77 500 IOPS read and 85 000 IOPS write (4K QD64) help with numerous small operations – typical for Windows, games, and multitasking. The Phison PS3111-S11 controller, in combination with NAND flash memory and technologies such as SmartECC™, SmartFlush™, Guaranteed Flush™, and SmartZIP™, works for more stable data and more predictable behavior in daily use. An MTBF of 2 000 000 hours and a 36-month warranty provide peace of mind that the drive is sized for long-term operation in both PCs and laptops.

If you are looking for top NVMe speeds for heavy professional rendering or massive 4K video projects, it is better to look for a higher-class solution.

The most meaningful aspect of the GOODRAM CX400 512GB is the combination of decent capacity, stable SATA speeds, and a reliable controller with additional data protections – at a reasonable budget and with an easy upgrade path for almost any system.
