SSD KINGSTON KC600 1TB mSATA

Kingston KC600 1TB mSATA is a 1TB capacity SSD disk aimed at upgrading laptops and compact systems that use mSATA slots. It works via the SATA 3 interface and offers up to 550MB/s read speed and up to 520MB/s write speed – a huge jump compared to classic HDDs. The mSATA form factor and low weight of just 7 g make it convenient for thin machines and embedded solutions. This is a solid, practical choice if you want to revive an older laptop or a small form factor PC.

What you get

With 1TB you have enough space for the operating system, games, programs, and large projects, without constantly juggling space. The SATA 3 interface with up to 550/520MB/s read/write makes starting Windows, applications, and games noticeably faster than any mechanical disk. TLC flash memory is a good balance between durability and price, suitable for daily work, office activities, and moderate load. Up to 90000 IOPS mean much faster work with small files – archives, projects, databases, caches. The compact dimensions 50.8 x 29.85 x 4.85 mm give you the opportunity to fit it into devices where a standard 2.5" disk simply has no chance.

• 1TB Capacity – sufficient for OS, game library, applications, and large volume of documents and multimedia.
• SATA 3 Interface – up to the maximum supported by the standard SATA port, ideal for upgrading older systems.
• Read speed up to 550MB/s – noticeably faster startup of Windows and most frequently used programs.
• Write speed up to 520MB/s – faster copying of large files and shorter time for working with archives and projects.
• TLC Memory Type – good balance between price, speed, and durability for daily use.
• Up to 90000 IOPS – fast response to multiple small operations, which is felt as a "lighter" and snappy system.
• mSATA Form Factor and 7 g Weight – perfect for thin laptops, mini PCs, and specialized systems with limited space.
• 36 Months Warranty – peace of mind for long-term use.

Who it is suitable for

KC600 1TB mSATA is a very good choice if you have a laptop or PC with an mSATA slot and want to refresh it without replacing the entire machine. Suitable for daily office work, web, multimedia, lighter to medium-heavy games, and productivity. It is not targeted at enthusiasts chasing maximum speeds from NVMe, but for SATA-based systems it is more than an adequate upgrade.

The most sensible here is the combination of 1TB capacity, stable SATA speeds, and mSATA form factor, which allows you to breathe new life into old but still useful machines without unnecessary compromises.
