SSD Disk LEXAR NM620 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4

LEXAR NM620 256GB is a compact M.2 NVMe SSD solution for systems where you want a noticeable speed boost compared to a standard HDD or an old SATA SSD. It is positioned in the budget to mid-range class, but with a PCIe NVMe 3.0 interface and a read speed of up to 3000MB/s, it provides very fast loading of Windows and games. The M.2 2280 form factor makes it suitable for modern motherboards and laptops, provided they have NVMe support. There is no RGB or unnecessary decoration – the focus is on practical speed and stability.

What you get is an SSD that eliminates the feeling of “lag” when starting applications, games, and the operating system itself. With up to 3000MB/s read, installations, copying large files, and loading levels become noticeably faster compared to classic SATA SSDs. The write speed of up to 1300MB/s is more than sufficient for daily work, light gaming, and office loads. TLC memory offers a good balance between durability and price, without compromising basic reliability. The 256GB capacity is excellent for a system drive – Windows + main programs and a few heavier games.

• Capacity of 256GB, sufficient for the operating system, most-used applications, and 1–2 larger games.
• PCIe NVMe 3.0 interface, which provides significantly higher throughput compared to SATA SSD and eliminates classic bottlenecks during loading.
• Read speed of up to 3000MB/s for very fast boot, program startup, and transferring large files.
• Write speed of up to 1300MB/s, suitable for daily tasks, office work, and gaming without excessive waiting.
• TLC memory type, which offers a good balance between performance, durability, and price for mass-market configurations.
• M.2 2280 form factor, compatible with most modern motherboards and laptops with NVMe support.
• Black color and lack of RGB lighting, making it a non-intrusive choice for clean and simple builds.

It is suitable for budget and mid-range gaming configurations, office machines, and home PCs where you want a fast system drive without unnecessary extras. If you plan to keep a huge library of games or a lot of 4K video, you will likely need a larger capacity for primary storage.

The combination of the NVMe 3.0 interface, up to 3000MB/s read speed, and TLC memory in this class makes the LEXAR NM620 256GB a very sensible choice for a fast and compact system drive without unnecessary complications.
