ROYAL KLUDGE RK-S98 Blackberry Mousse Gaming Keyboard Chartreuse switch gaming keyboard

The ROYAL KLUDGE RK-S98 Blackberry Mousse is a mechanical gaming keyboard aimed at enthusiasts who want a compact, yet nearly full-size layout with additional features. With 98 keys, you get a familiar layout with function and multimedia keys, but in a more compact case. The combination of wired and wireless connectivity (2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and USB) makes it convenient for both a stationary setup and for carrying between devices. The Blackberry Mousse color and RGB backlighting add character, especially if it is important to you to visually match the peripherals with the setup.

What you get

With Chartreuse switches, you get a specific press feel – the mechanics are clear and distinct, suitable for gaming and prolonged typing if you like a high-profile feel. The PBT keycaps are more resistant to shine and wear, which is important if you play daily and frequently press the same keys. The built-in 3750 mAh battery gives you real freedom to use the keyboard in wireless mode for days on end, without constantly being tethered to a cable. Thanks to the multimedia functions and macro buttons, you can set up shortcuts for games, voice chat, or work, without relying solely on a software overlay. The layout with 98 keys and full-size standard means that you do not sacrifice the numpad, while still saving a little space on the desk.

• Mechanical construction with Chartreuse switches, providing a distinct feel when pressed and good control in games and typing.
• Tri-mode connectivity – 2.4 GHz Wireless, Bluetooth, and USB, so you can easily switch between wired and wireless modes according to your needs.
• A large built-in battery of 3750 mAh, which allows for long operation in wireless mode without constant charging.
• RGB LED backlighting, which gives you the ability to adjust the look according to the rest of the peripherals and the lighting in the room.
• 98 keys and full-size standard, so you get a numpad and all main keys in a more compact form factor.
• PBT keycaps with high-profile buttons for a more stable feel and longer lifespan compared to standard ABS keycaps.
• Macro buttons and multimedia functions, which save you time when changing sound, managing media, and executing frequent commands.
• Compatibility with PC, so you can directly add it to your desktop or laptop gaming/work setup.

Who it is suitable for

This keyboard is suitable if you are looking for a mechanical gaming platform with wireless connectivity, macros, and full functionality including a numpad, but in a more compact size. It suits FPS, MMO, and MOBA gaming, as well as typing and work, if you prefer high-profile buttons and PBT keycaps. It is not the best choice if you need a Cyrillic layout out of the box or are looking for an ultra-compact 60%/65% layout.

The strongest point here is the combination of tri-mode connectivity, a serious battery, and mechanical Chartreuse switches with PBT keycaps – you get a flexible setup that can stay permanently on the desk, but also be easily moved between several devices.
