ROYAL KLUDGE RK-S98 Light Cloud Gaming Keyboard Chartreuse switch

The ROYAL KLUDGE RK-S98 Light Cloud is a mechanical gaming keyboard aimed at modern setups where you want both feel and functionality in a more compact full-size form. It features 98 keys and retains all main keys and the numpad, but in a tighter layout. The combination of wired and wireless connectivity (2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, USB) gives you the freedom to use it on a desktop, laptop, or multiple devices. The RGB backlighting and the specific Light Cloud color make it visually distinct on your desk.

What you get

The mechanical Chartreuse switches provide a distinct feel when pressed, which is important for both control in games and fast typing. The PBT keycaps are more resistant to wear and shine compared to standard ABS, meaning a longer lifespan and a stable feel under your fingers. The built-in 3750 mAh battery is substantial for a wireless keyboard and allows for long sessions over Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz without constantly plugging in cables. Thanks to the multimedia functions and macro buttons, you can set up quick combinations for gaming, streaming, work, or software shortcuts according to your style. The RGB backlighting is not just for looks – in a dark room, you can easily find the commands and group zones by color for different games.

• Mechanical build with Chartreuse switches for precise feel and fast reaction during gaming and typing.
• Hybrid connectivity – 2.4 GHz Wireless, Bluetooth, and USB, so you can easily switch between wired and wireless depending on your needs.
• Large built-in 3750 mAh battery, which ensures prolonged wireless operation without frequent charging.
• 98 keys in a compact full-size layout, retaining the numpad and all main keys, but with a smaller footprint on the desk.
• PBT keycaps with high-profile buttons for more durable legends and a solid tactile feel over time.
• RGB LED backlighting, which allows for visual personalization and better visibility in low light.
• Macro buttons and multimedia functions for quick control of sound, media, and complex combinations with a single key.
• Compatibility with PC, with a layout that has no Cyrillic characters, which is a plus if you prefer a clean, “English” layout.

Who it is suitable for

This keyboard is a good option if you are looking for a mechanical gaming board for PC that combines wireless comfort and full functionality with a numpad. It is suitable for people who play games but also work with numbers, type a lot, or use macros and multimedia controls. If you insist on a Cyrillic layout or an ultra-compact 60% format, you should probably look at a different model.

The strongest aspect of the ROYAL KLUDGE RK-S98 Light Cloud is the combination of mechanical Chartreuse switches, quality PBT keycaps, and flexible connectivity with a large battery – a practical mix for gaming and everyday use in a cleaner, unconventional design.
