LENOVO Legion K500 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - GY40T26478

The Lenovo Legion K500 RGB is a full-size gaming mechanical keyboard, aimed at mid-to-high-end gaming builds where you want reliability and a pleasant feel for typing and gaming. The mechanical RED switches are designed for rapid key presses without excessive resistance, which helps in both shooters and MMOs. The RGB LED backlighting gives you visibility in the dark and the chance to customize the colors to your taste. The connection is via a USB cable, so you won't have to worry about batteries or latency from a wireless connection.

What you get

The mechanical construction with high-profile buttons and red switches gives you a light and linear travel – ideal if you prioritize fast reaction and don't like the "click" sound of tactile/blue switches. The full-size layout includes a numpad, which is a plus if you use the keyboard for number work or macros in addition to gaming. ABS keycaps are standard in the gaming class – light and pleasant to the touch, easy to clean. The RGB backlighting helps you see everything clearly in low light, and the multimedia functions allow you to pause music, change tracks, or control the volume without leaving the game. The 180-centimeter USB cable provides enough freedom for cable management even at a larger desk.

• Mechanical RED switches – linear travel and lighter actuation, suitable for fast gaming commands and prolonged typing.
• Full-size size – you get a full set of buttons and a numpad, convenient for gaming, work, and macros.
• RGB LED backlighting – better visibility in the dark and the ability to visually match the keyboard with the rest of your setup.
• High-profile buttons with ABS keycaps – classic mechanical feel and stable keycaps, comfortable for long sessions.
• USB cable with a length of 180 cm – easily reaches the case under or next to the desk, without the need for extensions.
• Multimedia functions – control of sound and media directly from the keyboard, without having to alt-tab out of the game.
• Compatibility with PC – plug-and-play via USB interface, without the need for additional adapters.

Who it is suitable for

This keyboard is a logical choice if you want mechanical gaming peripherals with red switches, a full-size layout, and RGB backlighting for a PC setup. It is suitable for FPS, MOBA, and MMO, but also for people who type a lot and prefer a light, linear travel. It is not the best choice if you need Cyrillic layout from the factory or if you are looking for a completely compact (tenkeyless or 60%) keyboard.

The combination of mechanical RED switches, RGB backlighting, and full-size size makes the Lenovo Legion K500 RGB a balanced option for gaming and daily work, without unnecessary frills, but with everything important in its place.
