Gigabyte G27UP - 27" inch SS IPS Dual Mode FHD/UHD(3840x2160) 160Hz, 1ms, HDR10 Gaming Monitor

The Gigabyte G27UP is a 27" gaming monitor aimed at mid-range builds where you want both smooth gameplay and detailed imagery. Thanks to Dual Mode resolutions 1920 x 1080 and 3840 x 2160, you can choose between a lighter load on the GPU or maximum detail depending on the game. The IPS panel with 1.07 billion colors and a typical contrast of 1000:1 provides a quite decent balance between colors and readability in dark scenes. Add 1 ms response time plus G-SYNC Compatible, and you get a monitor that feels great in fast shooters and competitive titles.

What you get

With a 27" diagonal and 4K resolution 3840 x 2160, the pixel size of 0.1554 mm means a very fine image – text is sharp, details in games and video are clearly distinguished, without visible stepped edges from a typical viewing distance. If in a given game the GPU is not enough for a stable frame rate at 4K, you switch to 1920 x 1080 and unload the system without changing the monitor. The IPS panel with brightness of 400 cd/m² and viewing angles of 178°/178° keeps colors stable, even when you are not exactly in the middle – useful if you often move your chair or share the screen with a friend. G-SYNC Compatible synchronizes the refresh rate with the GPU to reduce tearing and stutter at variable FPS. The power consumption of 32 W is relatively modest for a 27" gaming panel with similar parameters, so you can use it for long hours without a serious impact on your electricity bill.

• 27" diagonal and 16:9 format – a classic gaming size that provides enough space for games, multitasking, and media.
• Dual Mode resolutions 1920 x 1080 and 3840 x 2160 allow you to choose between a lighter mode for the GPU and maximum detail depending on the game and hardware.
• IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colors ensures stable colors and good color gradients for games, movies, and editing.
• Brightness of 400 cd/m² and static contrast of 1000:1 provide comfortable visibility under typical room lighting without losing detail in the shadows.
• 1 ms response time is a serious plus for fast FPS and competitive games where image blur interferes with precise aim.

• VESA 100 x 100 mm support gives you the freedom to mount it on a stand or arm and arrange your desk however you like.
• Integrated USB 2.0 ports add basic hub functionality for small peripherals near the monitor.

Who it is suitable for

The G27UP is a good choice if you are looking for a 27" gaming monitor that combines 4K detail for single-player and movies with the option for a lighter FHD mode for competitive games. It is also suitable for working with detailed images, code, and multitasking, where high pixel density helps. If you are after an ultra-wide format or need built-in speakers, this model is not for you, but for a classic 16:9 setup, it is very balanced.

The most sensible aspect of this monitor is the combination of 4K resolution, a fast IPS panel, and G-SYNC Compatible support, plus the convenience of switching to a lighter FHD mode when you want maximum high FPS.
