Case Chieftec The Cube - CI-03B-OP

Chieftec The Cube CI-03B-OP is a compact cube tower case for Mini ITX and mATX configurations, aimed at cleaner and more functional builds. The black case without a window focuses more on practicality and airflow than on an RGB show. Despite its modest dimensions of 265 x 355 x 385 mm, there is room inside for a graphics card up to 335 mm and a CPU cooler up to 160 mm, which opens up the possibility for quite serious hardware. If you are looking for something compact but not extremely limited, this model falls right into that zone.

What you get

The front comes with a factory-installed 1 x 200 mm PWM fan, which is a serious plus for quiet and even ventilation of the entire volume. From the top, you can add an additional fan up to 200 mm or use the space for water cooling with a radiator up to 240 mm, if you decide to raise the cooling level of the CPU. The rear supports a 1 x 120 mm fan, so you can easily build a logical front-to-back airflow. The four expansion slots and support for a graphics card up to 335 mm allow you to install a more serious GPU without compromising on a "small form factor". For storage, there are 2 x 3.5" and 2 x 2.5" bays – more than enough for a combination of a fast SSD and high-capacity HDD drives.

• Supports Mini ITX and mATX motherboards, which gives freedom to choose between more compact and more functional boards.
• The Cube Tower form factor provides deeper space for the graphics card and cooling, without the case being tall and bulky.
• Factory-installed front 1 x 200 mm PWM fan for strong but relatively quiet incoming airflow.
• Additional fan support: rear 1 x 120 mm and top up to 200 mm, which allows for well-balanced airflow.
• Compatible with graphics cards up to 335 mm and CPU coolers up to 160 mm, so you can use more powerful hardware.
• Features 4 expansion slots, which is a plus for additional cards or thicker GPU solutions.
• Offers 2 x 3.5" and 2 x 2.5" bays for a flexible combination of SSD and HDD for the operating system, games, and archives.
• Compatible with power supplies up to 160 mm and comes without a power supply unit, so you choose the PSU yourself according to your needs.
• Support for water cooling with a radiator up to 240 mm, if you want lower temperatures and a cleaner interior.
• A weight of 4.64 kg and compact dimensions of 265 x 355 x 385 mm make it easier to transport and position on the desk.

Who it is suitable for

This case is a good option if you want a compact mATX or Mini ITX machine for gaming or work, but do not want to give up on a more serious GPU and decent cooling. It is suitable for clean, RGB-free builds, for office/gaming hybrids, and for people who value good airflow over a glass panel. It is not the best choice if you are looking for maximum visibility with a transparent side panel and lots of lighting.

The combination of the cube form factor, a large 200 mm front fan, and space for a long graphics card makes the Chieftec The Cube CI-03B-OP a practical choice for a compact but serious configuration.
