Case Fractal NODE 804

Fractal NODE 804 is a compact yet seriously functional case aimed at mATX and mini-ITX builds with higher cooling and storage requirements. The form factor is Middle Tower, but with a cubic shape and divided internal space, which gives quite a bit of freedom in organization. It supports graphics cards up to 320 mm and CPU coolers up to 160 mm, so you can comfortably think about a more serious GPU and a taller air cooler. The black chassis with acrylic window allows you to showcase the hardware instead of hiding it.

NODE 804 is oriented towards people who want a lot of disk space and good airflow in a relatively small volume. You have up to 8 x 3.5" HDD positions plus 2 x 2.5" SSD slots and another 2 additional positions for 3.5" or 2.5" – this is a serious foundation for NAS, media server, or machine for working with large projects. Cooling is the strong point: you can install up to 4 x 120 mm fans at the front, up to 4 x 120/140 mm on top, and up to 2 fans at the back, allowing you to build a quiet and efficient airflow tunnel. If you prefer water cooling, there is full support for 240/280 mm radiators in various positions, so you can distribute heat between the two chambers. A power supply unit is not included, but the case accommodates PSUs up to 260 mm, which allows for a choice of quite powerful models.

If you are aiming for a maximally compact mini-ITX solution with a minimal number of disks, there are smaller cases that would be more logical.
