Xigamtek NYX AIR II mATX Black Case

Xigmatek NYX AIR II is a compact mATX Mini Tower case aimed at budget and mid-range configurations where space and airflow are equally important. It supports Mini ITX and Micro ATX motherboards and comfortably accommodates a more serious graphics card up to 350 mm, so it doesn't limit your choice of GPU. The height for CPU coolers up to 160 mm is sufficient for most meaningful air towers. The included 4 fans with RGB provide basic airflow and aesthetics without the need for additional expenses at the start.

What you get

The case is designed for stable airflow: you can install up to 3 x 120 mm internal fans at the front, another 2 x 120 mm on top, 1 x 120 mm at the back, plus 2 x 120 mm above the PSU shroud. This allows you to easily separate the cold intake from the front and bottom from the warm exhaust at the top and back. If you prefer liquid cooling, there is space for a 240 mm radiator at the front and a 120 mm at the back, which is more than enough for a standard AIO for mainstream gaming CPUs. The power supply is mounted at the bottom, up to 165 mm in length, which helps with better cable management and quieter operation. For storage, you have 2 x 3.5" slots for HDDs and 3 x 2.5" for SSDs – enough for a typical gaming or work build with a separate drive for the system, games, and archives.

• Mini tower format with support for Mini ITX and Micro ATX motherboards, suitable for compact yet serious configurations.
• Includes 4 fans with RGB, giving you ready airflow and lighting straight from the case.
• Supports graphics cards up to 350 mm, so you can comfortably install most modern mid-range and high-end GPU models.
• Maximum cooler height of 160 mm, allowing the installation of taller tower air coolers for quieter and more effective cooling.
• Rich fan options: 3 x 120 mm at the front, 2 x 120 mm on top, 1 x 120 mm at the back, as well as 2 x 120 mm on the PSU shroud for additional GPU cooling.
• Support for liquid cooling with a 240 mm radiator at the front and 120 mm at the back, if you want lower temperatures and a cleaner interior look.
• 2 x 3.5" and 3 x 2.5" drive slots provide a good combination of capacity and fast storage for games and applications.
• Convenient front panel with USB 3.0 x 1, USB 2.0 x 2, and HD Audio for easy access to peripherals and headphones.

Who it is suitable for

This case is a good choice if you want a compact mATX machine for gaming or work, with decent airflow and RGB aesthetics without raising the budget. It is suitable for gaming builds with a single graphics card, several SSDs/HDDs, and standard air or 240 mm AIO cooling. If you plan on very large air towers, extra-long PSUs, or extreme liquid cooling with serious radiators, it’s better to look for a larger form factor.

The combination of good hardware compatibility, included RGB fans, and sensible support for air and liquid cooling makes the Xigmatek NYX AIR II a practical base case for a modern, compact configuration.
