Monitor Alienware AW3425DWM, 34", VA QD‑OLED 3440×1440, 180Hz, 1 ms, HDMI/DP, AMD FreeSync, HDR400

The Alienware AW3425DWM is a 34" gaming ultrawide monitor, aimed at a serious gaming experience beyond standard 16:9 screens. The combination of 3440 x 1440 resolution and 21:9 format gives you much more horizontal space – both for games and multitasking. With an 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, the screen is ready for fast shooters and competitive titles, without any lag. The 1500R curved profile further immerses you in the image and makes peripheral vision part of the game.

What you get: A VA panel with 3000:1 static contrast for deep blacks and strong separation between light and dark scenes – useful in dark levels and movies. The 400 cd/m² brightness allows for comfortable work and gaming in brighter rooms, without losing detail. The Anti-Glare coating reduces glare, so you are not fighting reflections but watching what is happening in the game. Thanks to 178°/178° viewing angles, colors and contrast remain stable even when you are not perfectly centered in front of the screen. Through DisplayPort and USB 3.0, you can easily connect your main machine and peripherals in a more organized configuration.

• The 34" curved Ultra wide display gives you a significantly wider field of view compared to standard 27" 16:9 monitors.
• The 3440 x 1440 resolution provides a lot of detail for games, movies, and working with several windows side by side.
• The 180 Hz refresh rate allows for much smoother motion compared to 60/75 Hz, especially in fast competitive games.
• The 1 ms response time reduces motion blur and makes objects clearer during sharp camera movements.
• The VA matrix with 3000:1 static contrast provides deeper blacks and a stronger effect in dark scenes compared to typical IPS panels.
• The 1500R curvature follows the natural shape of the field of view and improves the feeling of “immersion” in the game.
• 400 cd/m² brightness and Anti-Glare coating help with good visibility and fewer reflections in brighter rooms.

This monitor is suitable if you are looking for a serious gaming screen for ultra wide gaming, simulators, open-world titles, and parallel work with several windows. It is especially meaningful if you are coming from 60 Hz/75 Hz and want to enter a higher refresh rate class without switching to a format less convenient for productivity. It is not the most logical choice if you only play eSports titles and prefer maximum FPS at a lower resolution and smaller diagonal.

The combination of 34" curved ultra wide format, 3440 x 1440 resolution, and 180 Hz makes it a very good balance between immersion, detail, and speed. If you want one main monitor for gaming and daily work, the AW3425DWM covers both roles quite convincingly.
