AOC C27G2E/BK 27" Monitor, VA, FHD 1920x1080, 165Hz, 4ms, AMD FreeSync Premium

The AOC C27G2E/BK monitor is a 27" gaming FHD panel aimed at the mid-range – ideal if you want smooth gameplay without chasing 4K and absurd budgets. It combines a VA matrix with 3000:1 static contrast and 165 Hz refresh rate, which means deep black plus smooth motion in dynamic games. 4 ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium reduce blurring and image tearing at variable FPS. It is also suitable for everyday work, as it is 27" 16:9 with an Anti-Glare coating and wide viewing angles.

What you get: with 1920 x 1080 on 27", you get a sufficiently large screen for gaming and multitasking, without overloading the GPU – easily maintaining high FPS to actually utilize these 165 Hz. The VA panel with 3000:1 contrast provides a better perception of dark scenes compared to typical TN solutions – useful in shooters and games with many shadows. FreeSync Premium helps you avoid tearing and stutter when frames drop below the target, making gaming much more stable at variable settings. A brightness of 250 cd/m² is fully sufficient for normally lit rooms, and the Anti-Glare coating reduces annoying reflections from windows and lamps. With the D-Sub and DisplayPort inputs, you can connect it to both an older machine and a modern gaming PC.

• 27" Wide screen provides a large field of view for games and comfortable space for browser, chat, and additional windows.
• VA matrix with 3000:1 static contrast ensures deeper black and better detail in dark scenes compared to basic TN panels.
• Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080 is a good combination between visual quality and low GPU load for high FPS.
• 165 Hz refresh rate makes motion in shooters, racing, and competitive games noticeably smoother than standard 60 Hz.
• 4 ms response time reduces blurring during fast pans and fast camera movements.
• AMD FreeSync Premium synchronizes the refresh rate with frames from the GPU to minimize tearing and input stutter.
• Anti-Glare coating and 178°/178° viewing angles help the image remain readable and free of distracting reflections from various positions in front of the screen.
• LED backlight and 250 cd/m² brightness provide sufficient light for daytime use with lower consumption compared to older technologies.
• D-Sub and DisplayPort interfaces offer flexibility when connecting to both older and newer graphics cards.

Who it is suitable for: if you mainly play competitive titles at 1080p and want to squeeze high FPS from a mid-range system, this monitor is a very sensible choice. It is also suitable for daily work, movies, and general use when you prefer better contrast over maximum resolution. It is not the best solution if you are looking for 1440p or 4K for professional graphics and super fine font.

The combination of 165 Hz, VA contrast, and FreeSync Premium in a 27" format makes it a well-balanced gaming monitor for a 1080p build, without unnecessary extras, but with exactly what has a real effect in games.
