Monitor Asrock PG27QRT2A, 27", VA Curved 1500R, WQHD 2560x1440, 180Hz, 1ms, AMD FreeSync, Wi-Fi Antenna

The Asrock PG27QRT2A is a 27" gaming monitor with a curved VA panel, aimed at mid-range configurations where smooth visuals and good contrast are more important than extra features. It operates at WQHD resolution 2560 x 1440, which is a good balance between detail and GPU load. With a 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, you get very smooth gameplay, especially in fast shooters and competitive titles. Add an Anti-Glare coating and a 1500R curved screen, and you get a more immersive feel without annoying reflections.

What you get: A 27" WQHD screen means enough workspace for games, browser, Discord, and one more window simultaneously, without looking small. The VA matrix with a 5000:1 static contrast ratio delivers deep blacks and a stronger effect in dark scenes compared to a typical TN or a paler VA. The 1500R curvature helps keep your peripheral vision "in frame," which is pleasant for long sessions. 180 Hz with 1 ms response reduces blur and makes motion more readable at high FPS, while AMD FreeSync takes care of less screen tearing if you are in variable frame rates. The brightness of 300 cd/m² is fully sufficient for a normal room, and the Anti-Glare coating keeps reflections under control.

• A screen with a 27" diagonal, which is the golden mean for a desk at arm's length – large enough for immersion, without needing to constantly move your head.
• A curved panel with a 1500R radius, designed to follow the natural field of view and reduce distortions at the edges of the image.
• 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, which provides finer detail than Full HD and makes text, HUD, and textures more readable.
• 180 Hz refresh rate for very smooth motion and more precise target tracking in dynamic games.
• 1 ms response time, which limits blurring (motion blur) and "trails" behind moving objects.
• VA matrix with 5000:1 static contrast and 178°/178° viewing angles for deeper blacks and stable colors at different angles.
• Anti-Glare coating and 300 cd/m² brightness, so you can play comfortably in daylight without strong reflections.
• DisplayPort interface and 3.5 mm jack for easy connection of PC and audio peripherals directly to the monitor.

It is suitable if you are looking for a 1440p gaming monitor with a focus on smoothness (180 Hz) and a high-contrast VA panel for a more cinematic experience in games and movies. A good choice for FPS, MOBA, and action titles, but also for daily work, browsing, and multimedia. It is not the most logical option if your main priority is professional color work and you need specific calibration and standards.

The combination of a 27" curved VA, WQHD resolution, and 180 Hz makes it a very sensible all-round monitor for a gaming setup, without paying for extra "flagship" features. The strongest point here is the balance between smoothness, contrast, and screen size for real daily use.
