Monitor ASUS ProArt Professional PA248CRV – 24.1" IPS

The ASUS ProArt PA248CRV is a 24.1" IPS monitor, aimed at professional work and general use, where accurate colors and screen comfort are more important than “gamer” extras. The combination of an IPS panel and 1920 x 1200 resolution provides more vertical space than standard Full HD, which is a noticeable plus for working with timelines, code, tables, and photos. With a 75 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time, the monitor is fully comfortable for everyday gaming and multimedia as well. The 350 cd/m² brightness and stable static contrast make it suitable for long work sessions in well-lit offices or studios.

What you get is a screen oriented towards accuracy and comfort, rather than showiness. The IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles keeps colors and contrast stable, whether you are directly in front or slightly to the side – important if you work with colleagues around one screen or review design/frames. The 16:9 format, but with 1920 x 1200 resolution, provides a bit more vertical space than 1080p, which is felt when working with several panels in editing software or while browsing. The built-in 2 x 2W speakers are sufficient for basic sound during videos, meetings, and quick clip reviews, without needing an external sound system. Via HDMI and DisplayPort, you can easily connect it to modern PC configurations, laptops, or docking stations.

• 24.1" diagonal provides enough workspace without the monitor taking up half your desk – a good balance for office, studio, or home workstation.
• IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles maintains consistent colors and contrast when viewed from the side, which is convenient for collaborative work and project reviews.
• 1920 x 1200 resolution provides more vertical pixels than standard 1920 x 1080, which is noticeable when working with documents, code, timelines, and web content.
• 75 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time ensure smoother cursor movement, scrolling, and animations compared to standard 60 Hz, while remaining fully adequate for casual gaming use.
• 350 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 static contrast ensure good readability and detail separation in daylit rooms and office environments.
• HDMI and DisplayPort inputs allow easy connection to modern desktop PCs, laptops, and docking stations, as well as convenient switching between multiple sources.
• VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting allows you to place it on an arm or wall stand and arrange your desk more ergonomically.
• The built-in 2 x 2W speakers do the job for online meetings, training, and multimedia when you don't have or don't want separate speakers.

Who is this monitor suitable for? It is aimed at people who work seriously in front of a screen – designers at early and mid-level, photographers, programmers, video editors, and anyone who values a more accurate image and additional vertical space. If you are looking for a pure gaming machine with high refresh rates above 144 Hz, this is not the right choice, but for mixed use – work, multimedia, and light gaming – it fits perfectly.

The combination of an IPS panel, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 75 Hz, and practical extras like VESA mounting and built-in speakers makes the ASUS ProArt PA248CRV a very sensible choice for someone who spends hours in front of the monitor and seeks comfort and a consistent picture, rather than unnecessary “extras”.
