Monitor ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQWMG - 27" WOLED WQHD (2560 x 1440), 280Hz, 0.3ms - 90LM0BZ0-B01171

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQWMG is a 27-inch gaming monitor aimed at serious gamers who want smooth gameplay and a very good image. It operates at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with a 16:9 format, which is a good balance between detail and GPU load. The OLED panel provides strong contrast and fast response, while the G-SYNC Compatible technology helps keep tearing under control. High dynamic contrast and 10-bit colors complement the picture for richer and smoother transitions.

What you get: A 27-inch OLED panel with 178°/178° viewing angles, which means that colors and contrast remain stable even if you are not sitting centered in front of the monitor. At a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a pixel size of 0.229 mm, text and interfaces look sufficiently fine for gaming, multimedia, and work. The static contrast of 1000:1, combined with a dynamic contrast of up to 1500000:1, provides distinct dark scenes and better depth in games and movies. The 10-bit panel with 1073.7M colors allows for more uniform gradients and less „banding“, which is useful for both visually demanding games and basic photo/video editing. With power consumption of around 27 W for a gaming monitor, it will not significantly increase your electricity bill during long sessions.

• 27" diagonal offers a good balance between immersion in the game and the ability to see the entire screen without constantly turning your head.
• Resolution 2560 x 1440 (QHD) provides higher detail than 1080p without loading the GPU as much as a 4K monitor.
• OLED panel with 178°/178° viewing angles keeps contrast and colors stable, even when viewing the screen from the side.
• Static contrast 1000:1 and dynamic up to 1500000:1 help achieve deeper black tones and clearer distinction between light and dark areas.
• G-SYNC Compatible synchronizes the monitor's refresh with frames from the GPU, for less tearing and a smoother feel in dynamic games.
• Support for 1073.7M (10bit) colors provides finer gradients and more accurate nuances, useful for both games and visual work.
• VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting allows you to place it on a stand or arm and arrange your desk and ergonomics as you prefer.
• Power consumption of around 27 W is relatively low for a gaming monitor and is suitable for long gaming sessions and daily use.

This monitor is a good choice if your goal is serious 1440p gaming, combined with a high-quality image for movies and everyday work. It is especially suitable if you use a GPU that comfortably supports high frame rates at QHD and want to get the most out of G-SYNC Compatible. It is not the most sensible idea if you will use it mainly for office documents and browsing – its potential is aimed mostly at games and visual content.

The combination of 27" QHD, OLED panel, G-SYNC Compatible, and 10-bit colors makes it a serious tool for gaming and multimedia, without excessive compromise in image quality. If you are looking for a step up from classic IPS/VA 1080p, this is a logical and noticeable step forward.
