Monitor ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP 27" OLED WQHD 2560x1440, 480Hz, 0.3ms, HDR, HDMI 2.1, AMD FreeSync/G-Sync

The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP is a 27" gaming monitor aimed at high-end configurations and people chasing maximally smooth gameplay. You get an OLED panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and an impressive refresh rate 480 Hz, which positions it directly in the territory of competitive gaming. Thanks to a 0.03 ms response time and high dynamic contrast, the image is simultaneously extremely fast and visually "punchy". The 16:9 format and 27" diagonal are the golden mean for 1440p gaming on a desk.

What you get

The OLED matrix here means truly deep black, a very high dynamic contrast 1500000:1, and very good sub-pixel response, which is important for clear details at high speeds of movement. At 480 Hz, every millisecond counts – a 0.03 ms response time minimizes motion blur and ghosting, so that in fast shooters and competitive titles you can clearly see your targets even during sharp pans. The brightness of 450 cd/m² helps the image remain readable in brighter rooms, and the Anti-Glare coating limits annoying reflections. With viewing angles 178°/178°, you can reposition yourself freely in front of the desk without the colors and contrast degrading.

• An OLED matrix with 2560 x 1440 resolution combines very deep black with high detail, suitable for modern AAA and competitive games.
• An ultra-high refresh rate 480 Hz provides extremely smooth motion and helps you more easily track fast action in shooters and eSports titles.
• A minimal response time 0.03 ms reduces the blurring of moving objects and makes tracking opponents more precise.
• Dynamic contrast 1500000:1 and static contrast 1000:1 ensure strong separation of dark and light scenes, useful both in games and in films.
• Brightness 450 cd/m² helps maintain good visibility of the image even under stronger ambient light or near a window.
• Anti-Glare coating reduces reflections from lamps and daylight, so that you can concentrate on what is happening on the screen.
• DisplayPort and USB 3.0 interfaces provide the main connectivity for modern GPUs and peripherals needed for a serious gaming setup.

Who it is suitable for

This monitor is aimed at gamers who play serious competitive titles and want a maximally high refresh rate with the advantages of an OLED panel. It is also suitable for people who care about deep contrast and quality picture for games and entertainment, but the priority is gaming. If you mainly play calm single-player titles at lower FPS, part of the potential of 480 Hz simply will not be used.

The combination of 27" 1440p, OLED, and 480 Hz makes the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP a monitor that clearly targets enthusiasts and eSports-oriented players, for whom a smooth and clean image is literally part of the advantage in the game.
