ASUS VU249CFE-B Eye Care Monitor, 23.8", IPS, FHD 1920x1080, 100Hz, 1ms, HDMI, USB Type C, Quiet Blue - 90LM09JK-B01K70

The ASUS VU249CFE-B is a 23.8" IPS monitor for general use, aimed at daily work, learning, and light gaming entertainment. The FHD resolution of 1920x1080 on this size provides good pixel density and a clear image for office, web, and multimedia. The panel combines a 100 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, which is a serious plus compared to standard 60 Hz models in this class. The Anti-Glare coating and wide viewing angles help the monitor feel comfortable even in brighter rooms.

What you get: an IPS matrix with 178°/178° viewing angles, so colors and contrast remain stable even when you are not directly in front of it. 100 Hz refresh makes motion smoother – scrolling, UI animations, video, and games look more natural than at 60 Hz, and 1 ms helps eliminate noticeable blur in dynamic scenes. The 1920 x 1080 resolution is light on the GPU, which is important if you use a budget system or a laptop. The benefit of the USB Type-C port is that you can connect a compatible laptop with a single cable for video (and simplify your desk), while HDMI covers standard PC and console devices.

• 23.8" diagonal provides a good balance between desk space occupied and workspace for office and multimedia.
• IPS matrix ensures better colors and stable image at wide angles compared to TN solutions.
• Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution is sufficient for clear text and video, without overloading a weaker GPU.
• 100 Hz refresh rate makes motion smoother than standard 60 Hz, which is noticeable during scrolling, video, and casual gaming.
• 1 ms response time reduces blur in fast scenes and helps provide a clearer image in dynamic games.
• 250 cd/m² brightness is fully sufficient for a typical office or home environment without extremely strong sunlight.
• USB Type-C and HDMI ports give you flexibility – easily connect a laptop, desktop PC, or console without adapters.

This monitor is suitable if you are looking for a daily display for work, learning, movies, and light to moderately dynamic games, and want something smoother than the usual 60 Hz. It is a good choice as a second screen for a laptop, especially if you rely on USB Type-C. If your goal is serious competitive gaming with very high FPS and 144+ Hz, you might find a few more hertz lacking here.

The combination of a 23.8" IPS panel, 100 Hz, and USB Type-C in this class makes it a practical, “everyday” monitor that noticeably improves smoothness and comfort compared to basic office displays.
