EIZO EV2740X-BK Monitor, 27", IPS, 4K UHD 3840x2160, 60Hz, 5ms, USB-C, LAN, DP, HDMI

This is the 27-inch 4K IPS monitor EIZO EV2740X-BK, aimed at general and professional work where detail and eye comfort are more important than a high refresh rate. With a resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz and an IPS panel, you get a lot of workspace and stable colors at various angles. The Anti-Glare coating and LED backlighting help reduce reflections and make daytime work more comfortable. An additional plus is that this is a monitor for long-term use, backed by a 60-month warranty.

What you get

The 4K resolution on a 27" screen with a 0.155 mm pixel pitch means an extremely fine image – text looks clean, application interfaces are smooth, and you have room for several windows simultaneously without sacrificing readability. The IPS matrix with viewing angles of 178°/178° is convenient if you often share the screen with colleagues or work with visual content where it is important that the image does not change with slight movement. The Anti-Glare coating limits reflections from lighting or windows, so long hours in front of the monitor are more bearable. With a 5 ms response time and 60 Hz refresh rate, the monitor is optimized for office, productivity, web, multimedia, and more relaxed casual gaming, rather than e-sports. The DisplayPort interface gives you a stable digital connection for 4K@60 Hz from modern GPUs and laptops.

• The 27" diagonal is a good balance between a compact desk and a sufficiently large workspace for multi-window work.
• The 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution provides a lot of detail and space – it is convenient for graphics, tables, code, and multitasking.
• The IPS matrix combines stable colors and wide viewing angles of 178°/178°, which is useful for collaborative work in front of the screen.
• Brightness of 350 cd/m² provides enough light for a typical office or home environment without the monitor looking “dim”.
• Static contrast of 2000:1 helps distinguish between light and dark areas more clearly compared to a typical office monitor.
• The Anti-Glare coating reduces reflections and is especially useful under strong ambient lighting or when working near a window.
• The 60-month warranty is a serious plus if you are looking for a monitor for long-term professional use.

Who it is suitable for

This monitor is a logical choice if you work primarily with office applications, programming, CAD, documents, web, or lighter graphic tasks and want 4K detail in a relatively compact size. It is also suitable for people who value high-quality image and comfort during long sessions in front of the screen. It is not aimed at competitive gaming, because 60 Hz and 5 ms are not priorities for the e-sports scene.

The combination of 4K resolution, IPS panel, Anti-Glare coating, and the long 5-year warranty makes the EIZO EV2740X-BK a very sensible choice if you are looking for a stable, reliable monitor for serious work every day.
