Gigabyte GS27FC, 27", VA Curved, FHD 1920x1080, 180Hz, 1ms, 108% sRGB, HDR, AMD FreeSync Premium Monitor

The Gigabyte GS27FC is a 27" curved gaming monitor, aimed at mid-range configurations where you want a maximally smooth picture without going over an absurd budget. It combines a VA panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a pronounced 1500R curvature, which pulls you closer to the action in games. The 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time are clearly aimed at fast shooters and competitive titles. Add the high static contrast of 3000:1 and you get dense black tones and a better sense of depth in dark scenes.

What you get: The 27-inch screen with FHD resolution keeps the load on the GPU relatively light, so it is easier to maintain stable high FPS at 180 Hz. The VA panel with 3000:1 static contrast and LED backlight provides much better separation between light and dark compared to typical TN panels, which helps in dark levels and movies. The 1500R curvature and 16:9 format make the screen comfortable for both gaming and multimedia, without having to get used to an ultrawide. The Anti-Glare coating and 250 cd/m² brightness help reduce reflections in brighter rooms, so you don't have to fight with windows behind you.

• 27" VA panel offers a good balance between size and detail for a desk at arm's length, with better contrast than typical budget IPS solutions.
• 1500R curved screen enhances immersion in games and makes peripheral vision more valuable, especially in racers and shooters.
• Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080 allows more affordable GPUs to push a high refresh rate without a serious bottleneck from the performance side.
• 180 Hz refresh rate ensures much smoother motion compared to 60/75 Hz, which helps with more precise aiming and less motion blur in dynamic scenes.
• 1 ms response time reduces smearing of fast-moving objects, so outlines in shooters and MOBA remain clearer.
• 3000:1 static contrast provides deeper blacks and more pronounced shadows, which is a plus for movies, RPGs, and any games with dark levels.
• DisplayPort + 2 x HDMI interfaces give you the freedom to connect a PC, console, and an additional device simultaneously without constantly unplugging cables.
• 178°/178° viewing angles keep the image readable and without serious color changes, even when you are not sitting centrally in front of the screen.
• Anti-Glare coating and 250 cd/m² brightness help reduce glare and maintain visibility in normally lit rooms.

This monitor is suitable if you mainly play competitive titles in 1080p and want a high refresh rate, without investing in a top GPU or a 1440p/4K panel. It also fits well for everyday use, movies, and consoles, as long as you prefer higher smoothness over higher resolution. If you are looking for entirely professional color work or an ultrawide canvas for productivity, there are more suitable options, but for a gaming focus, the GS27FC is on point.

The most sensible aspect of this model is the combination of 180 Hz, 1 ms, pronounced 1500R curvature, and a high-contrast VA panel, which gives you a fast and immersive gaming screen without overloading the budget and hardware.
