The IIYAMA XB2797QSU-W1 is a 27" IPS monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, aimed at comfortable work and mid-range gaming. The QHD resolution provides much more detail compared to standard 1080p, without being as demanding on the GPU as 4K. The IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles and an anti-glare coating ensures stable colors and readability even from a side view. The white color and thin bezel make it suitable not only for a gaming setup, but also for a cleaner office or home desk.

What you get is a combination of a detailed QHD image and fast response: a 1 ms response time helps reduce blur in dynamic scenes, especially in shooters and sports games. A brightness of 350 cd/m2 is more than sufficient for working in well-lit rooms, while the static contrast of 1000:1 provides a good balance between dark and light scenes. With two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort, you can connect several devices – PC, console, laptop – without constantly swapping cables. The ergonomic stand and VESA 100 x 100 mm give you the freedom to adjust it exactly as you like – on a stand, arm, or wall mount.

The 27" diagonal offers a good balance between size and sharpness, especially at QHD resolution, where text and interfaces look detailed without the need for aggressive scaling.
The 2560 x 1440 resolution (16:9 format) provides more workspace for multitasking, editing, and a wider field of view in games compared to 1080p.
The IPS matrix with 178°/178° viewing angles keeps colors and contrast stable, even when you are not directly in front of the screen.
The Anti-Glare coating and LED backlighting help reduce reflections and keep your eyes more comfortable during long hours in front of the monitor.
The 1 ms response time reduces motion blur and makes fast movements clearer, which is a plus for gaming and dynamic content.
Brightness of 350 cd/m2 and static contrast of 1000:1 provide enough “dynamics” in the image for movies, photos, and daily work.
Two HDMI ports plus a DisplayPort allow you to easily switch between multiple signal sources without additional adapters.
The thin bezel, white color, and ergonomic stand make it convenient for multi-monitor configurations and for cleaner, lighter setups.

Who it is suitable for: if you are looking for a 27" monitor for work, study, and gaming at 1440p, this model is a logical choice – detailed enough, fast, and convenient for daily use. It is suitable for office, home office, programming, light graphic work, and casual to mid-core gaming. If you are chasing the highest refresh rate for competitive e-sports gaming or specialized professional color grading, more niche models might be a better fit.

The most meaningful aspect here is the combination of QHD resolution, an IPS panel, and a 1 ms response time in a 27" format, plus an ergonomic stand and VESA – you get a monitor that comfortably covers most scenarios of a modern desktop without unnecessary compromises.
