Monitor LG 27UP650K-W, 27" UHD 4K IPS AG, 4K UHD 3840x2160, 60Hz, 5ms, VESA Display HDR 400, HDMI, DisplayPort, Headphone out, Reader Mode

The LG 27UP650K-W is a 27-inch 4K monitor for general use, which can comfortably handle both work and entertainment on a single desk. You get UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution on a 27" IPS panel with an Anti-Glare coating, so the text is super fine, and the image is clear and free of annoying reflections. With a 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time, it is more geared towards office work, graphic design, movies, and casual gaming than eSports. The brightness of 400 cd/m² and VESA DisplayHDR 400 (from the title) provide noticeably more vibrant colors and detail in bright scenes compared to basic SDR panels.

What you get

The IPS matrix with 178°/178° viewing angles is convenient if you often work with someone else in front of the screen or have a second monitor – the colors remain stable even from the side. With a static contrast of 1200:1 and 4K resolution, you can comfortably edit photos, review video, or write code with many windows open at once – 27 inches at 3840 x 2160 provide a lot of “real” workspace. The Anti-Glare coating is a big plus if you are near a window or under strong lighting, as it reduces reflections and eye strain during long sessions. Via DisplayPort and 2 x HDMI, you can easily connect both a desktop computer and a laptop or console, without constantly unplugging cables. And Reader Mode (from the title) is useful if you read and write long texts – it saves your eyes with a warmer and softer image.

• 27" IPS panel combines a sufficiently large diagonal with accurate colors and a stable picture from almost any angle.
• 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) provides a lot of detail and space for multitasking – more windows and finer text on a single screen.
• 60 Hz refresh rate is more than sufficient for office work, multimedia, and casual gaming, without overloading the GPU.
• 5 ms response time keeps motion blur under control for movies and games where you are not chasing a competitive level.
• Brightness 400 cd/m² and VESA DisplayHDR 400 ensure better visibility in bright rooms and a more dynamic picture in HDR content.
• Anti-Glare coating reduces reflections and makes the monitor more comfortable to use all day long.
• DisplayPort + 2 x HDMI allow you to easily connect several devices at once – PC, laptop, console, or streaming box.

Who it is suitable for

This model is a logical choice if you are looking for a 4K monitor for work, movies, photo and video editing, as well as relaxed gaming sessions at 60 fps. It is suitable for home offices, content creators at entry and mid levels, as well as for users who want an equally good monitor for work and entertainment. If you are chasing a maximally high refresh rate for competitive FPS, it is better to look for 144 Hz or more.

The combination of 4K resolution, IPS panel, and 400 cd/m² brightness makes the LG 27UP650K-W a balanced 27-inch choice that covers both work and entertainment in one place without drama.
