Monitor LG 32U990A-S, 31.5" UltraFine EVO 6K Nano IPS, 6K (6144 x 3456), 60Hz, 5ms, HDR 600, Adobe 99.5%, PD 96W, USB, HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 5x2, DP, Speaker 5Wx2, PIP, PBP, LG Switch, Black

The LG 32U990A-S is a 31.5" professional ultra wide monitor, aimed at people who work with detailed content and want maximum screen space. The 6K resolution 6144 x 3456 with a very fine 0.113 mm pixel makes text exceptionally sharp and provides room for many windows simultaneously. The IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles and anti-glare coating is a good combination for long work sessions without annoying reflections. This is not a gaming monitor, but a tool for serious work, where the priority is detail, colors, and comfort, rather than a high refresh rate.

What you get: a 6K ultra wide canvas on which you can keep several applications side by side without feeling cramped. The static contrast 2000:1 and brightness 450 cd/m² help with more readable shadows and more comfortable work in brighter rooms. With a 5 ms response time and 60 Hz refresh rate, it is fully adequate for video, office, code, design, and photo, but not for e-sports. Thanks to the rich set of interfaces – Thunderbolt, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and USB Type-C – you can connect it to modern laptops and desktops and use the monitor as a hub for peripherals.

• The large 31.5" ultra wide screen provides a lot of workspace for timelines, large tables, and several windows at once.
• The very high 6K resolution (6144 x 3456) with a 0.113 mm pixel size ensures super-fine detail and smooth text.
• The IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles is suitable for team work and color-sensitive tasks.
• Brightness 450 cd/m² and static contrast 2000:1 help with better readability and separation of dark and light details.
• The 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time are sufficient for general use, office, multimedia, and professional work.
• The Anti-Glare coating and LED backlight make the monitor more comfortable for prolonged work in lit rooms.
• A rich selection of ports: Thunderbolt Upstream, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C Upstream, DisplayPort 2.1, USB Type-C, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Downstream for connection to modern systems and peripherals.
• The 36-month warranty from LG adds peace of mind if the monitor is your main work tool.

It is suitable for professionals who work with high resolution – design, video, photography, code, finance – and are looking for one main, very detailed screen instead of several smaller ones. It also works for home use and multimedia if you value detail and large workspace more than a high refresh rate. If your main focus is competitive gaming, you will likely look for a 144 Hz+ model.

The combination of 6K resolution, IPS panel, and serious connectivity makes the LG 32U990A-S a very strong choice for a main professional monitor that gathers all your work on a single screen.
