The LG 32UQ850V-W is a 31.5" IPS monitor aimed at general use, but with a serious emphasis on working with detailed content thanks to its 3840 x 2160 UHD resolution. With a 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time, it is fully adequate for daily work, multimedia, and a more casual gaming experience. The IPS panel and wide viewing angles provide stable colors and contrast, even when you are not positioned directly in front of the screen. The 21:9 aspect ratio and "Ultra wide" type are a major plus if you like working with multiple windows simultaneously or watching widescreen content.

What you get is a combination of high detail and eye comfort. The 4K resolution on a 31.5" diagonal gives you a lot of workspace – you can keep several applications open at once without feeling cramped. The Anti-Glare coating and LED backlighting help reduce reflections and provide a more stable picture throughout the day. The brightness of 400 cd/m² is sufficient for well-lit rooms, making the monitor suitable for an office environment or a home setup near a window. Thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium, you can reduce stuttering and screen tearing if you have a compatible GPU and are playing games on this ultra wide display. Connectivity via USB Type-C plus a USB hub allows you to connect a laptop, peripherals, and accessories with a minimal number of cables.

• A large 31.5" screen with "Ultra wide" type and 21:9 aspect ratio, convenient for multitasking, timelines, and widescreen video.
• 3840 x 2160 UHD resolution for very fine text and detailed images, suitable for working with graphics, documents, and multimedia.
• IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles, so colors and contrast remain stable even when viewed from the side.
• Static contrast of 2000:1 and brightness of 400 cd/m², which helps with a more readable picture in bright rooms and better separation of dark and light zones.
• 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time – a balanced combination for office work, movies, and unpretentious gaming.
• AMD FreeSync Premium for a smoother experience in supported games, with less stutter and tearing at variable frame rates.
• Anti-Glare coating and LED backlighting, which reduce glare and eye strain during long work sessions.
• Rich connectivity: USB Type-C, 2 x USB Downstream, USB Upstream, HDMI, DisplayPort and Audio Out, allowing you to connect a laptop, desktop, and peripherals through a single monitor.
• HDR10+ support for a more dynamic image in compatible content, with enhanced contrast and more vivid scenes.
• A 36-month warranty from LG, providing peace of mind for long-term use at work and at home.

Who it is suitable for: if you are looking for a large ultra wide monitor for general use – working in multiple windows, programming, multimedia, and occasional gaming – this model is a very strong candidate. It is not aimed at the e-sports scene and competitive shooters, where you need 144 Hz+ and super low latency, but for most games and daily tasks, it is more than sufficient.

The combination of 4K resolution, 21:9 ultra wide format, IPS panel, and a rich set of ports makes the LG 32UQ850V-W a practical choice if you want one monitor to handle both work and entertainment. The most sensible aspect here is the balance between screen space, picture quality, and convenient connectivity in a complete package.
