Monitor Philips 34E1C5600HE/00, 34", 3440x1440, 100Hz, 1ms, Adaptive sync, USB Type-C, WebCam

The Philips 34E1C5600HE/00 is a 34" curved VA monitor for general use, aimed at people who want an ultrawide 21:9 screen for work and entertainment without stepping into the price class of high-end models. You get 3440 x 1440 resolution, which provides much more horizontal space than a standard 16:9 display – convenient for multitasking, timelines, code, and tables. The 100 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time make it noticeably smoother than classic 60 Hz in daily work and gaming. The curved 1500R panel helps keep the entire width of the screen within your field of view, which is a plus for both comfort and immersion in the content.

What you get here is a combination of a spacious ultrawide screen and decent gaming smoothness, without sacrificing image quality. The VA matrix with 3000:1 static contrast delivers deeper blacks compared to a typical IPS, which is especially noticeable in movies and dark scenes in games. The 3440 x 1440 resolution on a 34" with a pixel size of 0.23175 x 0.23175 mm means a sufficiently dense picture – the text is clear, interfaces do not look pixelated, and you can work with fine details. The Anti-Glare coating and 300 cd/m2 brightness keep reflections under control in a normal office environment. Thanks to 178°/178° viewing angles, the image remains readable even when you are not exactly in the middle – useful for a shared screen or a more relaxed posture at the desk.

• 34" curved screen provides a wide workspace that comfortably fits two or three windows side by side without the need for a second monitor.
• 3440 x 1440 ultrawide resolution in 21:9 format is convenient for multitasking, video editing, and games that support wide fields of view.
• 100 Hz refresh rate combined with 1 ms response time ensures smoother motion and less blur in dynamic scenes.
• VA matrix with 3000:1 static contrast offers deep blacks and good contrast, suitable for movies and games in lower light conditions.
• Curved 1500R panel helps keep the entire width of the screen at an equal distance from your eyes, which reduces fatigue and improves the sense of immersion.
• Anti-Glare coating and LED backlighting help for more comfortable work in daylight and a more stable brightness level.
• HDMI and DisplayPort inputs provide easy connectivity with a desktop computer, laptop, or console depending on what machine you use.

This monitor is suitable if you are looking for an ultrawide canvas for work, movies, and casual to mid-range gaming with a smoother feel than standard 60 Hz. It is particularly meaningful for people who like to work with many windows or watch 21:9 cinema format without black bars. If you strictly pursue competitive esports at maximum high refresh rates, 100 Hz may seem a bit low compared to 144/240 Hz models.

The strongest point here is the combination of a 34" ultrawide curved VA panel, 3440 x 1440 resolution, and 100 Hz, which combines a convenient workspace and decent smoothness for games and multimedia in a single monitor.
