Noctua Fan 140mm NF-A14 IPPC-2000-IP67-PWM
Description
This Noctua NF-A14 IPPC-2000-IP67-PWM is a 140 mm fan, aimed at more serious configurations where cooling is a priority – from powerful gaming cases to heavily loaded workstations. It combines high airflow of 107.42 CFM with max. pressure 4.18 mmH2O, which is suitable for both radiators and dense mesh filters and tight cases. It operates at up to 2000 RPM, with PWM control and support for 0 RPM mode, so you can keep it quiet in idle. Classic Noctua extras like AAO frame, Flow Acceleration Channels and anti-vibration pads help you combine serious cooling with a more refined sound.
What you get: 140 x 140 x 25 mm format, which covers most modern cases and radiators, plus serious airflow for hotter GPU/CPU combinations. At 12 V, with consumption of only 2.16 W and 0.18 A, the load on the power supply and fan headers is minimal, even with several such fans. The SSO2 bearing is oriented towards long life and stable operation at higher speeds, which is important if your machine runs under load for hours. The 4-pin PWM connector gives you precise control from BIOS or software – you can set a curve so that under load it ramps up to 2000 RPM, while in idle it drops to 0 RPM or low speeds for silence. The noise level at max. speeds is 31.5 dBA, which is a reasonable compromise compared to the amount of air passing through a radiator or a limited front panel.
- Size 140 x 140 x 25 mm – standard format for modern cases and radiators, providing more air than 120 mm at similar speeds.
- Speeds up to 2000 RPM with 0 RPM support – flexible range, allowing a fully passive mode in idle and aggressive cooling under high load.
- Airflow 107.42 CFM / 182.5 m3/h – suitable for configurations with many components and a need for strong case ventilation.
- Maximum pressure 4.18 mmH2O – helps air pass effectively through radiators, dense filters and narrow openings.
- Noise level 31.5 dBA – for a 140 mm fan at 2000 RPM, this is balanced noise compared to performance.
- SSO2 bearing – a higher-class bearing, designed for long life and stable operation under continuous load.
- AAO frame, Flow Acceleration Channels and anti-vibration pads – details on the frame and blade that improve airflow and reduce vibrations and parasitic noises.
- 4-pin PWM connector – full control from the motherboard, with the possibility for fine fan curve settings according to temperature.
Who it is suitable for: This fan is a sensible choice if you are after strong cooling – a powerful gaming build, a workstation with long renders, or a tightly packed case that retains heat. It is also suitable for radiators with higher density, where static pressure is important. If you are building an absolutely silent build and never want to hear a fan above low speeds, this model might be a bit more aggressive for you at 2000 RPM, but the PWM control allows you to keep it tamed.
In short, the strength of this Noctua NF-A14 is the combination of high airflow, good pressure and a quality bearing, plus fine control via PWM – exactly what you need when cooling is a priority and you do not want to compromise on reliability.
