Noctua NH-D9L Chromax.black CPU Cooler

This is Noctua NH-D9L Chromax.black – a compact air CPU cooler aimed at mid-range and more demanding configurations, where space is important, but you do not want to sacrifice quality cooling. The black Chromax design makes it discreet and easy to combine with almost any build. It works with a 92 x 92 x 25 mm fan and a relatively quiet profile up to 22.8 dBA, so it does not turn your case into a turbine. It is compatible with current sockets, including AM4/AM5 and LGA 1700 / LGA 1851, making it a good base for future upgrades.

You get an air cooler with a single 92 mm fan that spins in the range of 400–2000 RPM, so you can set a profile – from almost silent idle to serious cooling under load. NH-D9L Chromax.black is a good choice if you are building a compact or mid-range machine, want silence and reliability, but do not need a massive dual cooler or AIO. It is suitable for gaming and productivity at reasonable CPU consumption levels, as well as for cases with limited space around RAM and PCIe slots. It is not the most logical choice if you are planning heavy overclocking or a very hot high-end processor.
