CPU Cooler NZXT Kraken Core 360 RGB

NZXT Kraken Core 360 RGB is an all-in-one CPU cooler aimed at more serious gaming and work configurations, where you want stable temperatures and a clean look in the case. You get liquid cooling with a 360 mm radiator and RGB aesthetics that easily integrate with the rest of the lighting in the system. It is compatible with modern platforms like AM5 and LGA 1700, but also covers older popular sockets. The long 60-month warranty is a good sign that this is not a "short-term" solution.

What you get

The main advantage of such a 360 mm liquid cooler is that you can keep a more powerful CPU under control without a massive air "cooler" taking up half your case. Compatibility with AM4 and AM5 allows you to upgrade from one Ryzen to the next generation without changing the cooling solution. On the Intel side, support for LGA 1150/1151/1155/1156/1152, as well as LGA 1200 and LGA 1700, covers almost everything mainstream from recent years – from older i5/i7 to new chips. The standard 4 PIN fan connector means you can rely on PWM control from the motherboard – quiet at idle, more serious airflow under load.

• The cooler uses liquid cooling, which provides better thermal efficiency in limited space compared to classic air "towers".
• At the same time, it is also labeled as an air solution, as it relies on fans on the radiator for the actual expulsion of warm air from the case.
• Support for AM4 and AM5 makes it a good option for modern Ryzen systems, including for future upgrades within the same platform.
• Compatibility with LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1152 and LGA 1200 allows you to use it with both older and newer Intel systems without additional mounting kits.
• Support for LGA 1700 means you are covered for the current Intel generations with higher cooling requirements.
• The 4 PIN fan connector allows for PWM control of the speeds and finer tuning between silence and performance.
• 60-month warranty provides you with long-term peace of mind and makes it a logical investment for long-term use of the same system.

Who it is suitable for

Kraken Core 360 RGB is suitable if you are pursuing a more serious CPU build for gaming, streaming, or productivity and want to keep temperatures under control with 360 mm liquid cooling. If you are building a very compact budget machine or do not care at all about aesthetics and RGB, it may be an excessive solution and a smaller air cooler could suffice.

The combination of a long warranty, wide compatibility with current and older sockets, and standard 4 PIN control makes this NZXT Kraken Core 360 RGB a very logical choice if you want to install one cooler and forget about it for several generations of CPUs ahead.
