The Ryzen 9 9900X3D is a 12-core, 24-thread processor with Zen 5 architecture, a frequency of up to 5.5 GHz, and 128 MB of third-level cache. It is built from two blocks of 6 cores each, with the additional 3D V-Cache located on one of them. The AMD chipset driver launches games on the cores with the cache, while heavy tasks utilize all 12.
