Description
SWITCH TENDA TEF1105P-4-63W is a compact PoE switch for small office and home networks where you want to power IP cameras, phones, or other PoE devices without separate adapters. It has a total of 5 ports 10/100Mbps, with the first four supporting IEEE 802.3af/at PoE for power over the network cable. The total PoE power of 58W gives you the freedom to connect several devices simultaneously. It operates in standard Store-And-Forward mode and supports the main Ethernet standards for a stable connection.
What you get
With the four PoE ports, you can transmit both data and power over the same cable, which is convenient for mounting ceiling IP cameras or access points without worrying about a nearby outlet. The incoming power is 51V/1.25A, and the switch itself consumes up to 2W when no PoE devices are connected and up to 63W with loaded PDs (up to 58W PoE to them). The forwarding speeds of 14880pps per port at 10BASE-T and 148800pps at 100BASE-TX are more than sufficient for 100Mbps traffic without bottlenecks in a small network. The operating temperature range of -10ºC to 45ºC means it can be used in both cooler and warmer environments, as long as it is not exposed to extreme conditions.
- You have 5 x 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation ports, with ports 1 to 4 supporting PoE via IEEE 802.3af/at for direct powering of compatible devices.
- The switch supports the standards IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x, 802.3af, 802.3at, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of network devices and PoE equipment.
- The total PoE power is 58W, allowing you to power several PoE devices simultaneously, without the need for separate adapters for each.
- It operates in Store-And-Forward mode, providing packet checking and more reliable operation in more loaded or noisy network environments.
- It supports a MAC Address Table of 1K and backbound bandwidth of 1Gbps, sufficient for a typical small LAN with a few clients and cameras.
- Support for UTP Cat5/5e cables up to 250m for 10BASE-TX and up to 150m for 100BASE-TX provides flexibility in deploying cameras and other devices at greater distances.
- It is certified by FCC/CE/RoHS/EAC/BIS/RCM, which is a plus if you care about regulatory standards and environmental requirements.
- It comes with a 24-month warranty, giving you peace of mind for long-term use in small projects.
Who it is suitable for
This switch is suitable if you are building a small network for video surveillance, IP telephony, or several PoE access points and want everything to be powered centrally. It is ideal for small offices, shops, establishments, or home installations where 5 ports and 100Mbps speed are more than sufficient. If you need gigabit or a larger MAC table for a more serious corporate infrastructure, you should look at higher-class switches.
The most sensible thing about TENDA TEF1105P-4-63W is the combination of four PoE ports, a total power of 58W, and a simple, reliable 10/100Mbps switch in a small chassis. You place it, connect the cables, and the network with PoE devices just works.
