Description
POWERWALKER VFD 600 APFC is a compact off-line UPS with a capacity of 600VA, aimed at home and office systems that want basic protection from power outages and short interruptions. It operates with an input voltage of 170–280 VAC, which helps to handle typical fluctuations in the grid without immediately switching to battery. The output voltage waveform is a simulated sine wave, perfectly fine for most PC power supplies, networking equipment, and peripherals. There is no LCD display, relying instead on audible alarms and alerts to inform you of what is happening.
What you get: inside there is 1 battery 12V/5Ah, which provides about 2 minutes of runtime at full load and up to 8 minutes at 50% load. This is enough to save your work, safely shut down your PC, or survive a brief flicker in the grid without your router going down. Charging to 90% takes about 10 hours, so after one night the UPS is ready for the next power failure. With 6 Schuko outputs, you can connect a computer, monitor, router, and a few lighter devices without worrying about power strips. The fixed output voltage of 230 VAC and output frequency ±1Hz in battery mode keep your equipment within reasonable limits when the grid disappears.
- Capacity of 600VA, suitable for one desktop computer, monitor, and networking equipment under reasonable load.
- Operates with an input voltage of 170–280 VAC, which helps filter typical drops and spikes in the household grid.
- Output voltage waveform is a simulated sine wave, sufficient for standard PC PSUs, routers, switches, and peripherals.
- The built-in battery 12V/5Ah provides about 2 minutes at full load and up to 8 minutes at 50% load for controlled shutdown.
- A total of 6x Schuko outputs, so you can connect an entire small workstation without additional power strips.
- Charging time of 10 hours to 90%, making the UPS ready again after one night of downtime.
- Audible alarms that alert you during battery transition, problems, or low charge, even without an LCD and software.
- Compact device weighing about 2.8 kg, easy to position under a desk or next to the PC.
- No option for additional batteries and PC software, keeping it simple and low-maintenance.
Who it is suitable for: this UPS is a sensible choice for a home or small office setup – one PC, monitor, router/ONT, small NAS or DVR, where you need time to save rather than work for hours on battery. It is also suitable for purely networking devices when you want the router not to go down with every flicker. It is not suitable if you are looking for long autonomy, online double conversion, or true sine wave for sensitive equipment.
The combination of 600VA capacity, 6 Schuko outputs, and clear audible alarm makes the POWERWALKER VFD 600 APFC a practical, simple UPS for everyday protection against power surprises without unnecessary extras.
