Description
POWERWALKER VI 1000 SB is a line-interactive UPS of mid-range, aimed at protecting home and small office systems – PC, NAS, router, DVR/NVR, and peripherals. With a capacity of 1000VA and 3 Schuko (CEE 7/3) outputs, it provides enough reserve to keep working and to shut down your equipment normally during a power outage. It operates with a simulated sine wave, which is standard for this class and perfectly fine for most power supplies and network equipment. The management is simple – no LCD, but with Winpower software via USB for monitoring and automatic shutdown of the machines.
What you get
With a capacity of 1000VA and two internal batteries 12V/5Ah, the UPS provides about 1 minute at full load and about 7 minutes at 50% – enough time to save a project, finish a recording, or shut down systems in a controlled manner. The input range of 162–290 VAC helps with more unstable power supply, as the UPS compensates for dips and spikes without immediately switching to battery. It connects directly to a standard Schuko outlet and gives you three protected outputs for the most important devices. Through USB and the Winpower software, you can monitor status, set automatic shutdown for PC or server, and minimize the risk of damaged files and file systems.
- Line-interactive type with simulated sine wave, suitable for most PC power supplies, network, and office equipment.
- Capacity of 1000VA, providing reserve for a typical home/office configuration, several devices, and short but controlled operation during a power outage.
- 3 x CEE 7/3 (Type F) outputs (Schuko), so you can connect a computer, monitor, and router or other critical equipment simultaneously.
- Two batteries 12V/5Ah with a runtime of about 1 min at 100% load and 7 min at 50% load, sufficient for saving and proper shutdown.
- Wide input range 162–290 VAC and input frequency 50Hz or 60Hz, which helps with fluctuations in network voltage.
- Connection via USB and Winpower software for monitoring, logs, and automatic shutdown of connected machines.
- Charging time 8 hours to 90%, so after a longer interruption, the batteries relatively quickly return to operational mode.
- Weight 6.9 kg and a design without LCD, making it simpler and easier to integrate around a desk or in a small office.
- No option to add additional batteries, so plan to use it for short, controlled transitions, not for long autonomous operation.
Who it is suitable for
It is suitable if you want protection for a home or small office computer, NAS, network equipment, or a video surveillance system, where data preservation and normal shutdown are critical, rather than hours of autonomy. It is a good choice for a budget build, accounting or office computer, small server, or router/switch operating in an environment with frequent short interruptions. It is not suitable if you are looking for long runtimes or a strictly pure sine wave for more sensitive equipment.
The combination of 1000VA capacity, three Schuko outputs, and control via USB + Winpower makes POWERWALKER VI 1000 SB a practical UPS for everyday protection of equipment and data in a home or small office environment.
