Description
Fractal Aspect 12 RGB PWM White is a 120 mm case fan that combines stable cooling with addressable RGB lighting and a clean white design. The operating range of 500–2000 RPM provides good control between silence and airflow, while the rifle bearing is a reasonable balance between price and durability. With an airflow of up to 56 CFM and static pressure of up to 2.34 mm H2O, the fan is adequate for both intake and exhaust configurations. The addressable RGB lighting with 3-pin 5V ARGB connector gives you flexibility for synchronization with the motherboard or controller.
What you get
With a speed range of 500–2000 RPM, you can set profiles in the BIOS or software so that it runs almost silently at idle, and under load, it increases the RPM and effectively expels warm air from the case. The airflow of 13 – 56 CFM means that one such fan easily covers a typical position at the front or back of a mid-tower case, and with more units, you can build a well-balanced airflow tunnel. The static pressure of 0.23 – 2.34 mm H2O helps the air pass through dust filters and denser mesh panels without gasping. The noise level from below 10 dB(A) at low speeds to a maximum of 33.2 dB(A) at full speed is completely acceptable for gaming or workstation machines, without drowning out everything in the room. Thanks to the 4-pin PWM connector and separate 3-pin 5V ARGB, you can independently control cooling and RGB effects through the motherboard or controller.
- Standard size 120 x 120 x 25 mm, which fits most cases and fan positions.
- Wide speed range 500–2000 RPM, allowing for a choice between nearly silent mode and aggressive cooling under load.
- Airflow 13 – 56 CFM, sufficient for effective intake or exhaust in a standard ATX build.
- Static pressure 0.23 – 2.34 mm H2O, suitable for operation behind filters, grilles, and denser panels.
- Noise level <10 – 33.2 dB(A), so at low RPM it is almost inaudible, and at maximum, it remains within tolerable limits.
- Rifle Bearing for better durability and smoother operation compared to basic sleeve solutions.
- Addressable RGB lighting with 3 PIN 5V ARGB connector for synchronization with the motherboard or controller and an all-white housing for a clean look.
- 4 PIN PWM connector for precise speed control according to system temperature.
- Low consumption of 1.68 W at 12 V / 0.37 A, which is easy for any modern motherboard.
- 7 blades, optimized for a balance between airflow and pressure in various scenarios.
Who it is suitable for
This fan is suitable if you are building a white or RGB-oriented build and want a reasonable balance between cooling and noise without entering the high-end price range. It fits well for gaming and workstation systems in mid-tower cases, both as a front intake and as a rear or top exhaust. If you are looking for a completely silent configuration under full load or extreme air pressure for very dense radiators, you may need to look at more specialized models.
The combination of 120 mm format, PWM control, adequate CFM and pressure values, along with addressable RGB and white design makes Fractal Aspect 12 RGB PWM White a very sensible choice for a good-looking and functional airflow in your case.
