Noctua Fan 80mm NL-ACF1 - VRM/Auxiliary is a small but very targeted fan for fine cooling around the socket – VRM, RAM, M.2 SSD, and other sensitive components. It is positioned as an additional, not a primary case fan, and is aimed at stability under load, not RGB effects. It operates at 0–2200 RPM, providing up to 32.67 CFM airflow at maximum pressure 2.37 mm H₂O, which is important for directed cooling of small radiators and areas with low airflow. In typical Noctua style, it remains quiet – up to 17.7 dB(A), which is a big plus if you're aiming for a quiet but well-cooled system.

This 80 x 80 x 25 mm solution is specifically designed for the "problematic" areas around the CPU socket: VRM, RAM, M.2, and other near-socket components that often heat up the most under long CPU load and are not directly cooled by the main fans. Thanks to the 4-pin PWM connector and PWM control, you can connect the fan to the motherboard or controller and have it ramp up only when the VRM/M.2 temperatures really require it. The SSO2 bearing and MTBF of >150000 hours mean long life under 24/7 operation, suitable for workstation or server scenarios. This fan is suitable if you're aiming for lower temperatures on VRM, RAM, or M.2 SSD in a powerful gaming, workstation, or overclocked build, where the main airflow doesn't reach these areas well. It's also ideal if you use Noctua NL-LC1 AIO and want targeted additional cooling around the block. It's not suitable as a primary case fan for large cases – there, 120/140 mm variants will give you better overall cooling.
