MSI MAG CORELIQUID I240 Black CPU Liquid Cooling

MSI MAG CORELIQUID I240 Black is a water cooler for processors with a 240 mm radiator, aimed at gaming and enthusiast builds where air coolers are no longer sufficient. The dual-fan configuration of 120 mm combines good airflow and a relatively compact form factor that fits in most mid-tower cases. Support for current sockets like AM5, AM4, LGA 1700, and even LGA 1851 gives you peace of mind for upgrades. The added addressable RGB ensures synchronization with the rest of your ARGB lighting in your system.

What you get

With a radiator length of 240 mm and two 120 x 120 x 25 mm fans with airflow up to 70.7 CFM each, this water cooler is suitable for more serious CPU loads – long gaming sessions, streaming, or rendering. The pump operates at 3400 RPM ± 10% at DC 12V, which helps transfer heat from the processor quickly to the radiator even under constant load. Thanks to the 4 PIN connectors, the fans can be controlled via PWM from your motherboard, and with 5V ARGB you have full control over the effects through your motherboard's software. Support for multiple sockets – from AM4/AM5 to LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 – means you won't have to change coolers with your next CPU upgrade, as long as your case can accommodate a 240 mm radiator in the front or top.

• Water cooling type 240 mm radiator, balancing between good temperature and compatibility with most cases.
• Two fans 120 x 120 x 25 mm, providing stable airflow through the radiator.
• Maximum airflow up to 70.7 CFM per fan, suitable for maintaining lower temperatures under prolonged load.
• Support for multiple CPU sockets – AM4, AM5, LGA 1200, LGA 115x, LGA 1700, LGA 1851 – for flexibility in platform choice.
• Fan connectors 4 PIN for PWM control and 5V ARGB for synchronization of lighting with the rest of the build.
• Pump with speed up to 3400 RPM ± 10% and power DC 12V, designed for stable operation during long sessions.
• Addressable RGB lighting, to connect it to an ARGB hub or motherboard and run custom lighting effects.

Who it is suitable for

MSI MAG CORELIQUID I240 Black is a good choice if you are building a mid-range or high-end gaming/streaming machine and want lower temperatures and a cleaner look compared to a large air cooler. It is also suitable if you plan upgrades between different platforms (Intel/AMD), as it covers widely used sockets. It is not the best choice only if you are aiming for an ultra-budget build or have a mini-ITX case without space for a 240 mm radiator.

The combination of a 240 mm radiator, strong airflow of 70.7 CFM, and wide compatibility with sockets makes this water cooler a practical option for serious CPU configurations with prospects for future upgrades and a finished ARGB appearance.
