Cougar GEX850 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

The Cougar GEX850 is an 850W ATX power supply with 80+ Gold efficiency and a fully modular design, aimed at mid-range and high-end gaming configurations. The 850W provides serious headroom for a powerful CPU and a modern GPU, without worrying about stability under load. Active PFC helps with cleaner power delivery and better performance during grid fluctuations. Its compact dimensions and 120mm fan make it suitable even for tighter cases with a focus on a quiet and tidy build.

What you get is a stable 850W PSU with an 80+ Gold certification, which means fewer losses and lower heat during typical gaming load. The fully modular design allows you to connect only the necessary cables, so that the airflow in the case is maximally free and cable management is easy. With six PCI Express connectors, you have sufficient power for a powerful GPU and additional cards if needed. The eight SATA and six peripheral connectors cover storage, RGB controllers, and everything around them. The wide input range of 100–240 VAC makes it a stable choice even with an unstable electrical grid.

• 850W Power – sufficient for a serious gaming or workstation build with a powerful GPU and lots of peripherals, without approaching the power supply's limit.
• 80+ Gold Certification – higher efficiency compared to basic models, which means less heating and lower consumption during typical use.
• Fully Modular Design – connect only the necessary cables, get a cleaner case interior, and better airflow around the GPU and CPU.
• Six 6/8-pin PCI Express connectors – serious flexibility for graphics cards with more power inputs and the possibility for additional cards.
• Eight SATA and six peripheral connectors – enough outputs for SSD/HDD arrays, fan hubs, and additional devices in a full case.
• 120mm Fan – a balance between cooling and noise, suitable for long gaming sessions and prolonged load.
• Active PFC and 100–240 VAC Input – more stable operation and better compatibility with various electrical installations.
• Compact Dimensions 150 x 86 x 160 mm – standard ATX format, which fits easily even in more compact cases.
• 60-month Warranty – long-term coverage, suitable for a build you won't be replacing soon.

Who is this power supply suitable for? Gamers and enthusiasts who are building a powerful 1080p/1440p or even higher-class build and want a reliable PSU with good headroom. It is also suitable for semi-professional systems with more drives and expansion cards. If you are aiming for a super-budget configuration with low consumption, this power level might be more than you need.

The most meaningful thing here is the combination of 850W power, 80+ Gold efficiency, and a fully modular design, plus the serious number of PCIe and SATA connectors. This way, you get a power supply that comfortably handles your current build and remains ready for an upgrade ahead.
