ASUS PRIME AP201 Mesh Case, MicroATX, White

The ASUS PRIME AP201 Mesh is a compact mATX Mini Tower case, aimed at well-ventilated builds in a smaller form factor. Despite its dimensions of 205 x 350 x 460 mm, it has room inside for a graphics card up to 338 mm and a CPU cooler up to 170 mm, giving you a wide choice of components. The Mesh construction is focused on airflow, and you have flexible options for fans and water cooling on the top and rear. The case comes in a clean white color and is shipped without a glass window and without RGB, so the focus is on functionality rather than lights.

What you get

You get a microATX case with a good balance between compactness and cooling capabilities. On top, you can mount up to 3 x 120 mm or 2 x 140 mm fans, plus an additional 1 x 120 mm on the rear, and it already includes a 1 x 120 mm fan on the rear panel for basic airflow right out of the box. If you are a fan of water cooling, radiators up to 360 mm are supported on top, and 120 mm on the rear, which is more than enough for modern CPU configurations. Power supplies up to 180 mm fit without drama, so you can use a more serious PSU without overcrowding the chassis. For storage, you have 3 combined 3.5"/2.5" bays plus another 1 x 2.5", which is sufficient for a combination of HDD for storage and several SSDs for OS and games.

Who it is suitable for

This case is suitable if you want a compact mATX configuration with good airflow and water cooling options, without chasing aggressive RGB and glass panels. It fits well for gaming, office, or a workstation, where cooling and practicality are more important than the show on the desk. If your goal is to show off a build with many lights, the lack of a window will not be to your taste.

The combination of compact dimensions, serious support for fans and radiators, plus the modern I/O with USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C makes the ASUS PRIME AP201 Mesh a very sensible base for a balanced and well-cooled microATX build.
