Monitor ASUS TUF GAMING VG279Q3R 27" Fast IPS, FHD 1920x1080, 180Hz, 1ms, FreeSync - 90LM0AD1-B01E70

ASUS TUF GAMING VG279Q3R is a 27-inch gaming monitor aimed at mid-range configurations, where smooth visuals are more important than 4K resolutions. The combination of Fast IPS panel and 180 Hz refresh rate makes it very suitable for fast shooters and competitive titles. 1 ms response time helps reduce blurring during quick movements, while the Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080 is easy on the GPU and allows for high FPS without a large load. You get good coverage of viewing angles and a matte finish that protects against annoying reflections.

What you get: The Fast IPS matrix combines the typical wide viewing angles of IPS at 178° with faster refresh and response compared to standard IPS panels. At 180 Hz, every mouse movement feels more precise, and if you play at a lower sensitivity, you will clearly notice the difference compared to 60/75 Hz. 1 ms response time reduces ghosting, which is important in dark scenes and high-speed motion. The brightness of 250 cd/m² is more than enough for a standard room without strong direct sunlight, and the matte, anti-glare coating helps you not to see your own reflection instead of the minimap. The static contrast 1000:1 is typical for IPS and provides stable colors for gaming, movies, and everyday work.

• 27" diagonal provides a large enough field of view for gaming and multitasking without requiring you to turn your head like on an ultrawide monitor.
• 1920 x 1080 resolution combined with 27" means larger pixels, which is fine for gaming and allows you to keep lower GPU load and higher FPS.
• Fast IPS panel with static contrast 1000:1 and viewing angles 178° ensures stable colors and an image that doesn't fade if you're not sitting directly in the center.
• 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time provide a smooth, fast image that helps in shooters, MOBA, and other competitive games.
• Matte, anti-glare coating reduces reflections from lighting and windows, allowing you to focus on the game rather than on glare.
• LED backlighting contributes to lower power consumption and even brightness across the screen compared to older technologies.
• Tilting in the range of -5° to 22° allows you to adjust the screen so you can view the center without straining your neck.

This monitor is suitable for gamers who primarily play in 1080p and want a high refresh rate for a smoother and more responsive image without entering the territory of expensive high-end 240/360 Hz models. It is also suitable for everyday work, movies, and studying, where 27" and the IPS panel provide comfort and good visibility. If you are looking for 4K resolution or very high brightness for brightly lit offices, this is not the most accurate choice.

The strongest point of this model is the combination of 27", Fast IPS, 180 Hz, and 1 ms, which gives the feeling of a fast, modern gaming monitor without unnecessary extras. The balance between size, resolution, and frequency makes it a practical choice for real gaming configurations.
