Monitor ASUS TUF GAMING VG34WQML5A – 34" VA UWQHD(3440x1440), 1500R, 250Hz, 0.5ms, 130% sRGB, FreeSync Premium

The ASUS TUF GAMING VG34WQML5A is a 34-inch gaming monitor, aimed at serious immersion in games and movies with a widescreen and high resolution. It relies on a 3440 x 1440 UWQHD panel, which provides much more horizontal space than a standard 16:9 monitor and is particularly convenient for shooters, simulators, and productivity. The VA matrix with a static contrast of 4000:1 ensures deep black and good detail in dark scenes. With a 100 Hz refresh rate, you get smoother motion compared to standard 60 Hz, without entering an extreme zone for GPU requirements.

What you get is a combination of a wide ultrawide screen and a reasonably fast matrix, which is a meaningful upgrade for gaming and daily work. The 3440 x 1440 resolution gives you space to keep several windows side by side, which is convenient for code, streaming + chat, video editing, or just multitasking. The VA panel with 4000:1 contrast makes movies and games with dark scenes much more readable and pleasant. With 400 cd/m² brightness, the screen remains clearly visible in brighter rooms. The built-in 2 x 2W speakers do the job for basic sound if you don't want separate speakers on the desk.

• A wide 34" screen that provides an ultrawide workspace and gaming field, convenient for shooters, simulators, and productivity.
• UWQHD resolution 3440 x 1440, ensuring high detail and space for several windows without the need for a second monitor.
• VA matrix with static contrast 4000:1 for dense black and good detail in dark scenes compared to typical TN/IPS alternatives.
• 100 Hz refresh rate, which makes movements in games and scrolling on web pages smoother than standard 60 Hz.
• 1 ms response time, reducing blur in fast scenes and improving the readability of moving objects.
• 178°/178° viewing angles, which help the image remain stable and readable, even if you are not perfectly centered in front of the monitor.
• DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, giving you the flexibility to connect a PC, console, or laptop without additional adapters.
• VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting, allowing you to place it on a stand or arm if you want better ergonomics than the lack of height adjustment.
• 400 cd/m² brightness and 1.07 billion colors, suitable for more vibrant images and smoother color transitions in games and movies.
• 31 W power consumption, which is relatively economical for a 34-inch ultrawide panel.

Who it is suitable for: if you are looking for an ultrawide gaming monitor for PC, with which to combine games, movies, and work with many windows, this model is a very meaningful choice. It is suitable for gaming in UWQHD, watching movies with a more cinematic feel, and general productivity. It is not the best option if ergonomics are critical for you and you insist on mandatory height adjustment from the stand.

The combination of 34" UWQHD, VA contrast 4000:1, and 100 Hz makes it a balanced ultrawide monitor for gaming and daily work, without unnecessary extras, but with a focus on the things that really matter on the screen.
