Water Cooler for Processor Gigabyte GAMING 240 ICE
Description
Gigabyte GAMING 240 ICE is a 240mm water cooler for processors, aimed at mid-range and more serious gaming and work configurations. The radiator with a length of 240 mm and two 120 mm fans provide a stable balance between temperature and noise. It is compatible with the most popular sockets – AM4, AM5, LGA 1200, LGA 1151, LGA 1700, LGA 1851, so you can easily plan it for a future upgrade. Addressable RGB lighting and the 5V ARGB connector allow you to connect it to synchronized lighting with the other components.
What you get is a combination of a copper water block and a fast pump with 4500 RPM, which take the heat from the CPU and effectively transfer it to the 240 mm radiator. The two 120 mm fans with a range of 500 – 2200 RPM give you freedom – you can run it almost silently under light load or increase the RPMs when the CPU is under serious load. With an airflow of 61.61 CFM per fan, the radiator is sufficiently aggressively cooled to keep temperatures under control. The noise level between 13.8 and 35.8 dBA is within reasonable limits for a 240mm water cooler – quiet at idle, noticeable but controlled at maximum RPMs. The addressable RGB lighting is controlled via 5V ARGB, which means clean integration with most modern motherboards.
- 240 mm radiator provides a larger area for heat exchange compared to 120 mm solutions and is a good match for more powerful CPU configurations.
- Two 120 x 120 x 25 mm fans provide balanced airflow and pressure through the radiator without taking up unnecessary space in the case.
- The range of 500 – 2200 ±10% RPM allows for both nearly silent operation at idle and aggressive cooling under full load.
- The airflow of 61.61 CFM per fan helps the radiator to dissipate accumulated heat quickly and steadily.
- The noise level 13.8 ~ 35.8 dBA keeps the system quiet during daily use without sacrificing cooling at high RPMs.
- The copper water block with a DC 12V pump at 4500 RPM ensures good thermal conductivity and fast liquid circulation.
- 4 PIN + 5V ARGB connector provides simultaneous PWM control of the fans and full synchronization of the addressable RGB lighting with the other components.
Who it is suitable for this cooler? For gamers and power users who are building a mid-range to more serious system and want water cooling with a 240 mm radiator, without going into extreme or expensive custom loop solutions. It is also suitable if you plan upgrades between different generations of CPUs due to the wide socket support. It is not the most logical choice if you are building a super compact build, where a 240 mm radiator simply won't fit.
The combination of a 240 mm radiator, copper block, fast pump, and controllable RPM range makes Gigabyte GAMING 240 ICE a sensible choice if you want lower temperatures and a clean look with ARGB, without getting into unnecessary complications.
