Consumers may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at / http://ec.europa.eu/odr / - a single point of access that allows consumers and traders in the EU to settle the disputes that arise between them.

Alternative dispute resolution /ADR/ between consumers and traders is a voluntary out-of-court conciliation procedure.

The general conciliation commissions facilitate the reaching of an agreement between consumers and traders in disputes concerning contracts for the sale of goods and the provision of services.

The general conciliation commissions are organised on a regional basis, and the body competent to resolve disputes between the Merchant and a Consumer is the General Conciliation Commission seated in Sofia, whose area of operation covers the territory of the Sofia region.
